Great place, comfortable, safe.
Pros:

The breakfast is great. I think everybody should be able to find something they liked. The room is my favorite, so spacious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly.

Cons:

I would love to have a microwave. The weekend breakfast is a little late and we did not get to eat. My granddaughter was in a volleyball tournament and had to be there at 6:30. To better explain this, we did eat on Sunday, not able to eat on Saturday.

Please dont stay here
Pros:

Broken shades in room that were fixed for 2days and my room was directly in front of a police surveillance tower, housekeeping didnt not clean my room, and the front desk did not advise that they skip certain days, the toilet backed up 2x. It was fixed once and backed up again, and the entire bathroom smelled of sewage. I had to use the bathroom in the gym, and shower at wrk bc the bathroom in the room smelled so bad.

Great place to stay
Pros:

We were there for Softball. Everyone was very nice. We were welcomed by the front staff and checked in promptly with no issues. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff very nice. I would staff there again.

Highly recommended
Pros:

Excellent service from staff, room is clean and big space in the room and bathroom. Hardwood floor is nice.
Even if room is along freeway, not able to hear any outside noise. Will come back.

Pros:

Have a lovely 3 days stay in this hotel. Quiet at night, good breakfast with wide variety, fast elevator and cleanlines from the lobby to the room.

Typical Hyatt Place Experience
Pros:

The location is convenient located beside the 880 freeway. It was sufficiently close to San Jose without having to suffer the price gauging of the main stay San Jose hotels. Yes, I am looking at you Hyatt House San Jose. The additional 20 minute to get to the heart of San Jose in the morning was well worth saving over $200 a night at this location. While I get to choose which hotel I stay at for business, I do have an annual travel budget I have to curate so I can't blow it in all in Q1 without considering the rest of the year. I try to stay in Hyatt as I am a loyalist but it is getting harder and harder to justify as pricing tends to be higher at Hyatts.

Lack of front desk staff and loud at night but bed comfortable
Pros:

Location, bed was comfortable

Cons:

Rooms had cobwebs and generally just not very clean in my opinion. Certainly not a pig stye either. I just think it could have been in better shape. We stayed at the hotel last in 2021 and the rooms were hospital level clean then
