There was no Wi-Fi available. We tried to get on to the Thatchers Wi-Fi but without success. As there was no problem once we had left the hotel this was very annoying,
Mi-a plăcut amplasarea și apropierea de Grange Park Opera.
Nu mi-a plăcut faptul că temperatura din hotel era extrem de ridicată, în condițiile în care afară erau 25 de grade Celsius. Nu există aer condiționat dar, cel mai grav fapt este că nu există ventilație de aer, mai ales pe culoare.

This was a perfect location for our visit to a reunion in Cobham. We also had a lovely walk on the North Downs which can be accessed easily by walking from the hotel.
We ate in the restaurant and while my burger and chips was fine my wife's cauliflower curry was extremely bland (no spice at all) and extremely yellow. It did not match the description on the menu which claimed the cauliflower was roasted when in fact it was boiled - very disappointing.
Great Hotel, modern comfortable rooms, great restaurant & bar, staff are very friendly and helpful, loverly old building and location is great with a really nice pub opposite. Will 100% stay again if I am in the area!!

Nothing to not like superb hotel
A good hotel maybe if only it were run better.
Unacceptable heat levels in the rooms whilst we understood that in the weather conditions it was difficult to keep cool, to not be able to provide a fan, not to have considered opening the windows prior to our check in (10pm, well after a cool change had gone through), not to be able to open the windows more than 10cm, not to offer cold water in the rooms and not to have considered bedding options offering only a thick duvet is completely unacceptable. Our rooms were borderline dangerous temperatures, and we were unable to even contemplate a restful night.
Unhelpful reception staff - we had considerable luggage as we are travelling for a month but were not offered any assistance with our bags despite the lift being broken, were told we should have organised help earlier, that our bags were very heavy and that it wasn’t the receptionists fault the lift was broken! Never have I experienced such distain and downright rudeness in many years of travelling.
Noise disruption - a party downstairs was exceptionally noisy through the slightly open windows
Unsafe/unsatisfactory facilities - fluctuating water temperatures in the showers, cycling through hot to cold constantly. Additionally the shower bases are extremely slippy

The receptionist was brilliant swapping rooms due to broken lift and difficulty with stairs for one of my bookings
Really comfortable place to stay. Tastefully decorated, modern and very clean. The housekeeping staff are a credit to this establishment. Spotless rooms and en-suite.

The food was terrible
Staff were friendly. The lunch sandwiches in the bar were excellent. Room was comfortable but, because we visited on probably the hottest June day ever, the lack of air conditioning was noteiceable.
WiFi was a bit intermittent and we continually had to go through the login procedure. Breakfast was somewhat over-priced we felt for a basic buffet.
Breakfast ok evening meal excellent.
Mini fridge would be big bonus.
