Hotel Larios Málaga

Frokosten var dyr, men det var mange gode alternativer rett utafor døra.

Unfortunately booking .com told us breakfast was included and it was confirmed on my confirmation email. Hotel said it is not included. Front desk Julia would not even bend for a coffee in the morning.
Booked this particular hotel because breakfast was included. Instead time was taken out of each day to go look for breakfast. Dont confirm if not included!!!!!!!

The hotel did not feel like a 4 ⭐ hotel, and would benefit from being refurbished. The entrance from the street to get the lift to the first floor reception always had a musty/drain like smell: Not a great introduction. The bedroom and bathroom were starting to look dated. The cleaning staff did a good job , but older fixtures and fittings are difficult to keep pristine. Having carpets in the bedroom, and partially up the walls in the corridors!,is more difficult to keep clean than hard floors. I would have expected dressing robes and slippers , but these were sadly absent, and towels were not soft.The staff did a good job in replacing the mattress which was like a solid board, with a more comfortable one, but there's nothing they could do about the noise outside. If you don't like having Air conditioning on and prefer fresh air , bring ear plugs as the street noise goes on until the early hours of the morning. The room has a kettle, but the cord was so short that pouring hot water into a small cup was challenging as it required you to hold the cup below table level, which felt safer than having to pull the plug out of the wall and risk tipping the kettle over.

Studio facing the main square is very nice however could be improved with better sound proofing.

Solo un ascensor, el otro para el servicio. Al haber una terraza abierta al público tarda mucho en conseguir el ascensor pues suben y baja continuamente cargado de gente. No se cuantas veces tuve que subir y bajar 4 pisos. Al llegar había una palmera de chocolate detalle del hotel pero estaba chafada en una parte por lo que parecía ser que alguien la había chafado con un dedo para ver la dureza de la palmera. Fuimos a recepción a quejarnos y se disculparon, pero no nos dejaron otra en la habitación ni nos dijeron si queríamos otra. El desayuno bien atendidos por el señor que había, pero no reponían muchas cosas y había que avisar para que repusieran. Detalles de 3 estrellas en un hotel de 4. Falta productos aseo, falta presión en ducha,

Too much noise, entrance isn’t exactly safe. There was a woman in the square asking for money and singing all day, really loudly, just wailing horribly I know that’s not the hotels fault but best to mention it. Breakfast was in the main hotel so a trek around the building each morning. The bed was so high off the ground and very small double, My partner found it difficult to climb in to and didn’t feel safe on there as it was small.
