Location was great for me. It had been recently renovated so everything was clean and new.

Cons:

The room was small and bathroom tiny. There was no air conditioning or fan with a very large window on the hottest day ever so it was really uncomfortable. Other Britannia hotels provide fans.

Retro hotel in a retro city 2
Pros:

Beautiful period hotel which is what I always hope to find on my travels.
The hotel was one of the cleanest I've ever seen and really loved the period staircase.
I imagine there's several rooms not yet modified to modern looks.
I'd be happy with one of the old style rooms if still available

Cons:

The bar was closed on the night I stayed.
No complaints otherwise
