it was cheap, but bathroom was unusable due to smell. I do NOT recommend.
Pros:

the personnel at reception at night, do not remember his name, he was amazingly kind and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good too.

Cons:

The room was poor, located somewhere behind the dining room, which itself was no problem, but it was old and the bathroom smelled awfully. It was impossibe to stay in the room to to rotten smell from bathroom. I complained to night reception guy, forgot his name, he came and cleaned the bathroom with some spray, though it was, I think, not his charge. The situation did not change after that, so I tightly closed door to bathroom, opened window and it was possible to sleep after that. I did not use the bathroom in the room at all due to horrible smell from waste water channel.

Parkovanie za 20- € noc ktore nebolo uvedene vopred na stranke Booking ako platené. Bolo to prekvapenie pri checkine, auto nocovalo za 20 eur, v areali hotela, na hotelovom parkovisku.

Pros:

Hezký a čistý hotel blízko centra. Personál v pohodě. Parkování hned u hotelu za poplatek. Vcelku nové vybavení.

Cons:

Spíš detaily jako odřené stěny a zárubně na chodbách, starý a špinavý koberec na venkovním schodišti nedělá moc dobrý první dojem. Pokoj vybaven opravdu skromně. Že tam není lednice asi nevadí ale aspoň konvici by to chtělo. Chytrá televize, na které jsou zablokované chytré funkce.

Lovely location, splendid rooms, nice breakfast, yet sadly, some staff with no clue what they're doi
Pros:

Lovely room, quiet at night with fresh air from the surrounding greenery. Nice classic breakfast

Cons:

The staff wanted to charge me more than double what the room was worth, since the man at the checkout didn't think to account for the fact I'd already payed on booking.com and insisted there was still an open bill. This could be resolved however

Very nice hotel, close to historic center with parking
Pros:

The hotel and room were very nice. The location is good, not too far from the historic city center of Salzburg. It would be about a 20 mins walk to reach this, but the bus passes right in front of the hotel, so there is that option available. The fact that the hotel had parking (at a charge of €20 above/ €25 underground) was a big factor in our choice to stay here. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a good choice of food to please most all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

This is probably no fault of the hotel, but we were there for 4 nights during the height of a heat wave. The AC in our room could not to keep up with the excessive heat and therefore the room remained quite warm throughout our stay. But again, I must repeat I believe under normal circumstances this would not have been an issue. It may be helpful if the rooms had some more area rugs on the hard wood flooring, as footsteps from hard-soled shoes or heavy footfall could be disturbing at times.
