Sad experience for my daughter and I
Pros:

Customer service is terrible - not pleasant at all … I felt I was racially profiled … I was not good enough to be treated like any other privileged white person.
I came there for the Weekend with my daughter for a dance competition . So many employees and not one person offered to help with luggage or direction.
Hyatt only cared about was the parking fees which was ridiculous. $35 off site $70 for parking $100 for valet .. I guess if I took valet so would be treated differently.
I am by myself with my 14 year daughter helping with luggage and the car attendant explaining to me I need to hurry up … I said give me a second - after my daughter went out to grab the remaining items from the car .. the attendant spoke with my daughter demanding the keys 🔑 because has to have it .. she is a child .. you speak with me .. don’t intimidate my daughter .
Finally checked out of the Hyatt on the Sunday the front desk was rude didn’t offer me my bill or explaining my bill will be sent to me just rude no eye contact .. clearly to black for there establishment (never again ) .. I get charged for 4 night of parking I was only there May 1st May 3rd. The car attendees marked that I had 2 vehicles. Help me make sense .. I called right away spoke with front desk and refunded me the difference .. fine … now paying waiting for deposit to be returned on my card … attitude they rush you off the phone .. other peers that stayed at that hotel received there deposit right away within 25hours
I have been asking for help .. they transfer you over and over to Lindsey , to Angela ,to someone else .. they want your money don’t want to help .. make you feel to go back there again .
I guess I’m not white enough for HYATT !!
Sad
Great example for my daughter .. can’t trust anyone
They are FAKE !!!
Customer service has totally changed … maybe dealing with Ai is a better option

Brand new rooms, stunning views!
Pros:

Lovely stay at the newly renovated Hyatt! Rooms are literally brand new, so clean and beautiful. Was impressed to see a hand-held garment steamer provided in the bathroom too!

Staff was great and lots of people available to help upon check in. We arrived early but requested a “high floor” room & was moved from the 12th to 36th floor. Ice & water machines on every floor so easy water bottle refill.

Special mention for Aaron at the front desk who helped us when an arcade game “ate” some of our children’s coins. He generously helped us with more coins for the kids & made their day!

We had a great breakfast overlooking the falls within the STK space the following morning & our server Pam was so sweet. Only piece of advice is that the space gets very warm in the morning sun, so sit away from the windows.

Awesome View, but go somewhere else
Pros:

This is the old Embassy Suites. This is important because several floors are under construction. With that the room is very clean, and the view is worth crossing.

Wheb we arrived, we were greeted by all five of the valets, appearing to be land sharks looking for a tip. Told that my wife or I would have to stay in the vehicle until we got checked in. When we approached check in, the host was nice enough, but when offering a room upgrade, it felt like a sales pitch from Wybdham Blue-Green, or RCI. Asking about valet, the host wierdly told us to see valet where another sales pitch was given - $100CA for on site, or for a low price of $70CA you could park offsite (2-5min) away, and get bused back, but dont worry, the bus was included.

The construction process has split all the old rooms causing this "rent a studio" appearance from your local small town landlord.

We ate at STK Steakhouse for breakfast, and while the food was tasty, and we sat with the falls next to us, the restaurant was noisy, and the staff was rude, and at one point telling another couple not to tell someone on another shift she upgraded their food package.

Overall, come visit the falls, for my wife and I - we came, we saw, and unfortunately because of our experience will recommend to friends and family to go bext door to Marriott, or across the street to Hilton.

Fine if you are expecting a party weekend
Pros:

I travel a lot and this felt this hotel was okay. Nice lounge on lobby floor, small fitness center, indoor pool. Unfortunately the Niagara Falls area is kind of trashy, like a mini Vegas, and this hotel is just another part of that. The "suite" was really just a regular room. The pool was blasting music and families were at the pool as late as 10:30pm with their children doing cannonballs, kicking soccer balls, etc. Not relaxing. The gift shop charges astronomical prices. STK is the fancy falls view restaurant onsite and is known for being incredibly overpriced at all of their locations. I was in a falls view room and since they have one window that you can open, it doesn't fully seal and I could hear music playing from down below until midnight. So, again, not relaxing when you're trying to sleep. To top it off, people are there to party and when I got out of the elevator to try to read at the hot tub, there was a huge pile of puke on the floor right outside the elevator. Again, this is probably par for the course for the area; I didn't plan to go to there but took the opportunity while on a work trip. Wouldn't go back.

Good family hotel
Pros:

The Hyatt has been open for 2 weeks (after taking over the previous Embassy Suites.) We booked a Fallsview 3 Queens, which we'd have to look right to see the falls, and asked to upgrade to a premium view. It was worth the extra money to have such a fantastic view of the falls! All of the staff were very friendly. The pool area is very nice, we used it a lot (but I found the hot tub too hot). Location is a short walk to Fallsview, and right in front of the incline railway ($4/ride or $10/day to get down to falls). Everything is new right now, but you can see traces of an older hotel if you look. Cons are cost of parking but that's a Niagara thing, not specific to this hotel. 2 elevators were not in use so had to wait a bit at peak times.

I'll stay here every time!
Pros:

The Hyatt Regency, formerly known as Embassy Suites, in Niagara Ontario, switched owners the beginning of April 2026.
The rooms were NEWLY remodeled so they were VERY clean, reasonably priced, had fantastic views, and comfy beds.
They are located right on the falls, so the views were amazing! We took my mother to Niagara for a surprise 80th birthday celebration. We were on the 24th floor, with my wife and I in a regular king studio. 2403, and my parents were in a corner room, 2411, which was the "presidential suite." They had windows in their room that were panoramic. In April, it wasn't very busy, and everyone there was extremely polite, and there was no shortage of staff to call the elevator, get you a car, hold the door, etc. We felt VERY well taken care of. For breakfast Anna was our server. We loved her so much we asked to be in her section the next day too. :) The restaurant also overlooked the falls.
Because they were renovating rooms, there was some construction noise, but it wasn't bad at all. We had no trouble sleeping, and we were out during the day most of the time. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, as well as a casino which was a plus for my parents. :)

Nice hotel but overpriced, some areas lacking which need improving
Pros:

Great views, nice rooms

Cons:

Elevators you could be waiting over 30 minutes (probably the worst I’ve experienced), the windows need cleaning as they are filthy so the view was not the greatest because of this, breakfast was difficult and not the greatest system

Hotel mistake never resolved
Pros:

They charged wrong card, corporate card on Hilton account without notice, instead of my personal card presented at check in. They refuse to correct their mistake.

Bad experience
Pros:

Only location

Cons:

Not so clean. Very crowded. Had to wait for long time for the elevators, super crowded breakfast lineup, super crowded swimming pool and jacaozi. Not very clean. I asked them to clean our room and they refused mentioning that they clean every third day. Had a bad experience staying at this hotel.

Pros:

I like my room because of the view.

Cons:

The elevators, the company could do better. The lines are too long just to catch an elevator. And the free breakfast they could do better.
