I visit frequently for personal reasons. I keep coming back to this hotel because it meets all my requirements. Everyone I contact has been supremely professional and always helpful. I recommend it without reservation, even though I do recommend a reservation!
Anntoinette Peterson in the lounge is an amazing person. She truly made the stay much more pleasant. She sets the bar for service levels for hotel staff
Stay at hotel 30 days a year. Have to ask for towels and sheets. Aluminum trim in shower corroding. Mildew in shower. Place is horribly run down and over $400/night. Ask for Cleveland Clinic discount and said best they can do. Will not stay there again.
I came in for two nights only to have surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Everyone was great making me comfortable afterwards.
My mom had surgery at the Cleveland clinic. Things didn’t go as well as planned, we needed to extend our stay multiple times. Violetta was very helpful and compassionate in accommodate us through a difficult time…most of the staff was as well. The only downside was housekeeping they were rude when we needed extra towels and had to ask multiple times.
I was having trouble booking my next stay and Paris P. was patient, kind and extremely helpful. She above and beyond to be helpful to me. Thanks Paris.
The staff at the Intercontinental Cleveland is exceptional and the location is perfect if you are visiting the Cleveland Clinic. The hotel is connected to Cleveland Clinic through skyways, making access very convenient and easy
We stayed in a room with access to the Club Lounge, which I highly recommend. It was an absolute pleasure to be greeted with joy and kindness by Antoinette each morning. The breakfast selections were nice and the setting is very comfortable. There are other offerings during the day as well.

The Intercontinental Cleveland is a world class hotel. All hotel services were provided in a professional and courteous manner. The proximity to the Cleveland Clinic can't be beat. The two restaurants were excellent. Overall I give the Intercontinental an A+.
I stayed a weekend in the hotel’s club level with a club lounge that provides breakfast/ tea/ drinks during the day.
Breakfast can get packed with no seating or availability.
It is a one woman show on the weekends. Antoinette worked tirelessly setting out a nice buffet of food / table settings / welcoming people and cleaning the tables after people left. She spoke to everyone and remembered where everyone was from and who they came with. She is a remarkable woman who made my stay very special. A truly warm person who loves her job. She is wonderful but needs a little hand during the busier hours.
When she goes to the back to get more food and people arrive - there is no one at the desk to greet folks or seat them.

- very spacious room on the concierge 12th floor, HVAC was excellent
- lobby / lounges although not recently done were inviting and friendly
- bed was VERY comfortable, bathroom very well appointed, shower was great, I always think today’s hotel showers need a handheld wand that works in addition to shower
- I needed a refrigerator and wheelchair for hospital rounds and a procedure and they were in my room waiting for me
- room appeared very clean
- good value
- executive dining room chef is superb and could help the hotel create a destination restaurant ( an opportunity and whole different discussion)
Beautiful hotel, but the mattress was hard as a rock. Other than that, it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
My visit to the restaurant here was excellent. The food was so good and the atmosphere was wonderful. My waitress, Lucja was very pleasant, attentive to me and added to the great experience. I highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental. Everyone there...from the staff at the reception desk to the waiters in the restaurant...was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. As I was there for a medical procedure at Cleveland Clinic, the Skywalk connecting the two buildings made getting around the main hospital a piece of cake. Also, our room was immaculate. If you have an appointment at the CC there is no better place to stay...the convenience makes it well worth the price. I highly recommend this hotel and intend to stay there whenever I return to Cleveland.
