Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

Beautiful city centre hotel right in the middle of the Victorian Quarter. Great location for bars, restaurants and shopping. Staff were wonderful and the rooms were beautifully decorated.

Exceptional Hotel!
Pros:

This hotel is quite beautiful! The room exceeded our expectations and was quite larger than expected. We had a bedroom and separate seating/tv area along with a large beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot tub and separate shower. There's a spectacular covered 'alleyway' between the hotel and the hotel's restaurant/pub with seating and beautiful garden lighting. AND there's a waterfall at the end, which our room overlooked. The staff were absolutely wonderful and kind. We would 100% stay here again!

Perfect for a night or two in Cork ,central to everything
Pros:

5 minutes walk in one direction to Train Station , in another direction only 5 minutes to bus station and then just around the corner to the maze of streets for which Cork is famous . Staff wonderful , room clean and well laid out . Breakfast was great . Lovely bar and restaurant attached

It was fine for what we needed.
Pros:

Perfect location ..

Cons:

No aircon working and the room was sweltering hot due to the warm weather. We were provided with fans but they didn’t make any difference.
Parking was also a bit of a trek.

Pros:

Su ubicación y la modernidad/comodidad del apartamento.

Cons:

Los apartamentos están a 3 minutos caminando del hotel sin ascensor. Eso no estaba explicado cuando se hizo la reserva. Y están al lado de un albergue y bar y se oye la música y la gente si tienes las ventanas abiertas.

Unsafe room, no remediation
Pros:

The location was great, and liked the section outside the lobby.

Cons:

During our stay water started to pour through our ceiling lights in the bathroom. Despite this being clearly unsafe, the member of staff we notified was keen for us to remain in the room. When he eventually conceded it was dangerous, he offered no help at all besides noting that we would struggle to give us a refund as we booked through Booking.com, and they had no replacement rooms available. He informed us all the hotels nearby were booked (thankfully we eventually discovered that they weren't). When we sourced a booking there was obviously a clear difference in cost, having booked in advance versus booked on the day. I believe Booking.com’s partner contract requires hotels to cover the cost of relocating guests if the hotel fails to provide a usable, safe room- but this was not provided at all. We were told this was due to the lack of availability of a senior manager, but despite several hours waiting last night in the hope a room could be sourced, and returning 14 hours later, no further clarity on refund were provided.

Très bel hôtel parfaitement placé en cœur de ville
Pros:

Très bel hôtel (mention spéciale pour le jardin intérieur et sa cascade), parfaitement placé (à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville, de la gare et de la gare routière). Personnel charmant!

Cons:

Nous avons eu très chaud dans la chambre (pas de clim, ventilateur peu efficace, couette en plumes en plein mois de juillet et pas de draps seuls).

Nice hotel but too hot & loud!
Pros:

The location and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

Our room was sweltering and directly above the Cask Bar. We asked for an additional fan but it did little to alleviate the stuffy heat. While we understand that older hotels do not have a/c, on very hot days, they need to make a better plan for cooling down rooms. The noise from the bar was very noticeable.
