Very comfortable rooms. Convenient location in Santa Rosa with good restaurants nearby. Appreciated the recommendation on wineries close by and discount with the hotel.
General areas and gardens need some care. Buffet breakfast was very standard for the price.
The heated pool was great! The kids loved it. They also did s'mores the night we stayed which was an awesome perk. The room was clean and the staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in a while.
Beautiful pool and courtyard.
Many special touches such as s’mores for kids and wine tastings.
Upon late arrival/checking in, I was very tired from flying from LAX. The young male receptionist at the front desk started arguing: "You have not paid for breakfast, so you cannot have breakfast here!" However, I knew I had paid for it. Anyways, instead of being so unprofessional and hostile, he could have simply asked me to pay again. And I would have gladly done. But he kept arguing. I will never go there again.
The advertised wine tasting did not happen..Also the hotel adked fir my credit card (which I resumed was for incidentals ) They immediately put around $500 dollars. I informed them and they acted like that was normal and it was removed the charge the next day
I have stayed at many Hyatt properties, but this experience was unlike the Hyatt standard I expect. Communication was very poor. I repeatedly explained that my stay was fully covered by the hospital and that cost was not an issue. As a cardiologist traveling for an interview, all I wanted was a quiet room to rest and prepare.
Instead, the staff kept focusing on complimentary upgrades, which completely missed the point. It felt like no one was listening. Joao, the supervisor, initially offered Hyatt points, which I accepted, but then later suggested a complimentary upgrade instead. I did not want perks or extras—I wanted my concerns addressed.
To make matters worse, the Wi‑Fi was very slow and unreliable. Overall, I left feeling unheard and disappointed by the lack of communication and understanding from the front desk team. Hyatt can do better.
We are just back from a wonderful trip to Sonoma and Napa where we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country. We had a fabulous time! This is an annual trip for our little group of lifelong dear friends and we've stayed someplace different every time. Next year, we'll be back the Hyatt. The location is absolutely perfect to get everywhere we want to go - from the Armstrong Redwoods to Bodega Bay, Napa and all over Sonoma. It is perfect! Hajar N. at the desk is the picture of anticipatory service! Her knowledge of the area is vast and her commitment to excellence service was demonstrated daily. Jonathon & Miriam & Shaun at the bar were FABULOUS! Friendly and welcoming and able to pivot from service to the lacrosse teams & their parents with the hotel's signature s'mores experience to servicing the adults enjoying the lobby bar and patio. They make a fabulous Manhattan and a Saphire Martini, btw. We met Nahir at checkout and he exemplified the same commitment to excellence. Again, we'll be back next year!
Beautiful place, the pool was so nice and warm, we loved the courtyard and the smore supplies available. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Overall excellent experience.
One of the rooms we had a number of lights didnt work, im not sure if there was a problem with the electrical in this room but the bathroom light didnt work along with a couple lamps and I even had to move the coffee maker to a different outlet. Also the price was ok but there were some hidden fees. On top of parking, it was more than I was expecting bur probably pretty standard in a place like this.
location, rooms, overall layout
only breakfast, no restaurant for lunch or dinner
Place is average more dogs in the hotel than a local Kennel. I would not expect this from a Hyatt. Also, $35.00 destination fee which they claim is a resort fee. Just because you have a pool doesn't mean it is a resort. Holiday Inn's have pools.
Our great experience here started with the friendly valet who warmly welcomed us & took care of our luggage & car. The front desk was also welcoming & helpful. Our King Premier room was spacious - both the bedroom/sitting area & the bathroom…worth the upgrade. The location was nice…an easy walk to downtown for dinner but away from the noise & hubbub. A perfect choice for lodging in Sant Rosa.
Location was great. Pool area was very nice, as was the bar.
Now I realize I already reviewed my stay earlier. I mentioned that the walkway from the parking lot is so narrow that people need to step to the side if someone with a rolling suitcase walks from the opposite direction. On the other hand, I hate to say anything about the walkway that would disrupt the absolutely beautiful landscaping throughout the grounds
