Easy access, great staff, nice property. Felt warm and inviting from the front doors. Bright, well lit everywhere. Easy to maneuver.
Room needs renovation. Bathtub faucet and shower not functioning properly. Sink apparatus scratched and needs repainting
After traveling all over the world and staying in Hyatt Regency Hotels all over, this one was the poorest I have ever been in. It needs a complete overhaul, new beds, new furniture, new safes, glasses instead of paper cups.
Complete lack of parking from Thursday evening to Monday morning.
Absolutely the best place to stay in Santa Rosa. Nice facility with great staff. Great pool area. You can hit many wineries via Uber which is probably a good choice.
Stayed here many times and will be back.
We were part of a wedding party 13 in total who traveled to Sonoma. We had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency. We all had a wonderful stay. A fantastic location and a really beautiful hotel. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
"Room with a view" had just a tiny window, bathroom sink would not drain properly, parking lot was gravel/dust, no housekeeping service was provided.
Nice location . Close to downtown and parks.
I was double charged for our rooms and told it was because I used booking.com
Great hotel experience, excellent help at checkin from Melissa, offering a wheelchair for my older mother. Excellent service
No maid service at all. Won’t let me post this review either. I have to use a hundred words. Who wants to write a hundred words just to write a review. Are we back in high school. Can’t we just state the facts that service was poor or should I continue writing to state that there was absolutely no maid service.
Very clean, massive room.
Breakfast buffet wasn’t available during our stay
Comfortable rooms
Lengthy check in
Fantastic stay with a family party. No issues and we all had a wonderful stay
Nothing everything was perfect
Leila, Front Desk Host, was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make our trip an awesome experience.
Thank you for your extra effort and support!
Typical Hyatt, good looking lobby and clean grounds. Nice, clean rooms although the tower rooms showing some wear and tear in the carpet. Still one of the better properties in the Santa Rosa area.
We stayed here for a convention. The layout was very convenient. It was a nice hotel but the room had ants and the toilet malfunctioned.. I would suggest staying somehwere else.
Spent four nights at this Hyatt property and came away genuinely confused as to how this hotel carries a Regency designation.
At its core, the physical asset simply does not feel like a Regency-level property. The rooms are very dated, the common areas feel worn down, and the overall food & beverage experience is closer to a limited-service hotel than a flagship full-service brand. It honestly feels like substantial exceptions or deviations from normal brand standards must have been allowed for this property to retain the Regency flag.
Beyond the physical condition, the bigger issue was the atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff overall seemed frustrated, disengaged, and unhappy, and nearly every interaction carried a tense or snippy tone. Usually when you see that consistently across a property, it points to deeper operational or management challenges behind the scenes.
The hotel wasn’t a disaster, but the combination of deferred upkeep, low morale, and inconsistent service gave the impression of an asset potentially dealing with financial or operational distress.
Definitely not what most travelers would expect when booking a Hyatt Regency.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable. You can walk to downtown from the hotel easily.
The venue itself is very clean and modern. The amenities were great. No complaints at all.
I docked at one star mainly due to two reasons - one of which could be a deal breaker for some families with kids.
1. We requested a crib and they said that they were provide it at check-in. A few hours past and the crib still has not been set up so we went down and asked again. They said it will be set up right away. A few hours again pass by and nothing... At that point we were kind of fed up and we brought our own pack and play from the car (luckily we brought it with us as a backup).
2) the parking fee. There's basically no way to get out of that as there's no parking anywhere else nearby.
