Beautiful location & Tom the rifle shooting man
Some of the restaurant staff were quite rude
The setting and the architecture.
The new side does not go with the Manor House itself. Looks a bit 70s , some of the areas looked grubby. Where the lounge is
Very clean, friendly and efficient staff, delicious food.
There were lots of things to do. Long walks and then chill in the outdoor area. The cinema room was amazing.
The food wasn’t good at all. During dinner, the catch of the day was Hake and it was inedible. The supervisor came to apologise which I appreciated. Nevertheless, dinner was ruined. The breakfast was ok. Please do stock avocado. I’m sure lots of guests would appreciate that.
Absolutely lovely place to stay.
We only booked for one night, but if we knew just how lovely the place was and how much there really is to do we wished we booked for longer!

Poor cold brekkie in duke Restraunt
Value for money. Spa was good
Check in staff were awful. Basically handed over a single key and told you to get on with it through qr code. This wouldn’t accept credit card. Subsequently tried to call reception and gave up after ten minutes unanswered. Asked reception about spa facilities and directions, then got there to discover we needed two keys to get in. Reception was terrible!

I loved the hotel and particularly the staff, the entertainment was good. Unfortunately my fire alarm in my room flashed intermittently in my eyes most of the night, making it impossible to sleep. I reported it to the receptionist the next morning , she arranged an inspection. The second night the air conditioning light kept on flashing green, that started the fire alarm to start flashing again. During my two nights stay I constant interrupted, sleep. I’m totally tired and felt my long awaited brake was seriously disappointing. Such a shame for such a nice hotel.
