Beautiful house and grounds. Staff very friendly.
Bathroom had peeling paint on walls and ceiling, black mould in shower. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and not comfortable at all. Hardly slept and woke up with a painful neck.
Trolley of dirty washing and dirty glasses left the whole of our stay outside our room.

It’ a beautiful place looking at it.
When I arrived at the hotel. It’s shows where the reception, but when we got to the main entrance the door was locked. And we keep knocking on the door but no one answered. When we try to call they said look online as it’s closed. After a while a guest were coming out and they opened and I got to enter the building. After going inside found out there is no receptionist in and when asked a staff they told me to go to the other side of building after walking for almost 3,5 mins we got to the reception and got the key. After getting the key the receptionist told us we had to go back same way to the room. After walking again 3,5mins we got to the room to find out it was already occupied by another guest, lucky the guest was not in so I saw the clothes on the bed and quickly got out of the room. And try to call them as I am not going to walk all the way back with my stuff to the reception. After a while some one answered the call and told what happened and after a while someone came with new key for another room. No sorry no apologies just give me key and walked away.

No bath robes in room, not told on check had to book breakfast in advance
We are only stayed one night. However, we were not impressed with the food. They were definitely under-staffed. Thought my breakfast would be good but even that was barely hot. I was actually thinking of booking Christmas there..but will not be doing so now.

Check out at 10am which is fairly early I know you can pay but it’s quite a lot just for 2 hours when really it was just so we didn’t need to check out and rush the stuff to the car before breakfast
Absolutely amazing localization and place itself. We had rooms in „new” part and they were amazing with doors to patio where you could sit and relax. And thankfully those rooms have AC, as I’ve heard that in the old part there is no ac.
I felt…. Odd. Before booking I’ve read opinions and there were few about the average age of guests - I didn’t see that as a problem but. As a hotel for adults only I was not expecting a hotel which was more likely like a sanatorium or sth like that. It was not comfortable as some of guests looked at me strangely. Terrible idea with online system - as I did my reservation via booking, I couldn’t get to do anything in advance. They demand to book each meal online in advance and I couldn’t - and because of that I couldn’t eat in one of the restaurants and I was given very bad hours for breakfast. Huge problem with getting an invoice. There should be better signage around the grounds as I didn’t know where to search reception at the arrival - or witch one/ the garden needs a lot of attention.
