Very cold, no heating
Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

Cons:

This is the worst hotel in Finland out of many I have experienced. I was very surprised how worn down the hotel room was, the entrance is shared with a Lidl supermarket, so you can imagine how attractive that is. The room was basic, not overly clean (hair in the shower cabin), the white walls were turning black at many points, the floor was worn down and there was not even one little carpet in the room.
However, the worst thing was how cold it was in the room, the radiator was turned off. The reception employee explained that the hotel has no possibility to turn the heating on because it is sunny weather during the day and the system turns off the heating because of the weather outside. How absurd is that, the thermostats working according to the weather outside, and not the actual temperature inside? And no possibility to do anything about the temperature inside the hotel? Moreover, May is supposedly a "summer season" month in Finland where no heating is used, according to the reception. However, at the conference hall I attended the radiators were all on...
It took the staff 2,30 hours to deliver an electric heater to the room very late in the evening at 23.30, thus I did not get a good sleep.
To sum up, this hotel is not worth the money it charges, that is for sure. The price does not correspond to what is offered to guests.

Cons:

respan sekoilu, meinas silmää räpäyttämättä veloittaa ensin yhdestä yöstä 950 e, vaikka hinta oli päälle satasen. Onneksi katsoin summan korttilaitteelta ensin. Kun kysyin, minkä hinnan hän olis mutissut, ei sanonut mitään. Kauan näpytteli näppäimistöä, ja jonkun piti käydä välillä jo sanomassa, että poista nyt tuo toiseen kertaan laskulla oleva aamiainen.

Friendly but needs improvement
Pros:

Bed was comfy, staff were friendly

Cons:

The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. It could really do with a deep clean.
The breakfast variety was good but quality was poor.

Excellent hotel for exploring Turku
Pros:

Everything. Good central location. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast with lots of choices. We enjoyed the sauna.
