Unfortunately we cannot reccomend the Taj Fisherman's cove and will not be returning.
Pros:

The view and location of the partial sea-view cottage was lovely,, and we enjoyed the surrounding greenery and the sound of the ocean beyond. We were also delighted to see a variety of birds right from our cottage, which made the stay feel peaceful and immersed in nature.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. When we arrived, our room had not been properly cleaned, and there was a dead gecko inside the room, which was very unpleasant. The guest service was also disappointing. Dirty cutlery was left in our room for hours despite requests for it to be collected. We couldn't simply leave it outside because the property is surrounded by birds and other wildlife. Given the standard the property aims to provide, we expected much better housekeeping and more responsive service. With greater attention to cleanliness and guest support, the experience could be significantly improved.

OK but be prepared to pay by the nose
Pros:

The room was fine. The pool guys were willing to help with towels etc but a bit slow with meals and drinks service.

Cons:

The prices were ridiculously inflated (even by UK standards - never mind SE standards). We contracted tummy bugs (not attributed to hotel) therefore ate no breakfast, minimal lunch, some buffet stuff at night. But SO expensive. I could have flown from the UK to a pleasant Euro location on an AI/Breakfast deal for a better price.

Fantastic team! Good food! The housekeeping and manpower could be improved.
Pros:

The staffs at the resort are extremely receptive, starting from the check in Ms Prabilari chyne, She was prompt in her response with gentle smile always on her face and politeness her voice. The Spa manager Mr. Arun and the chef Mr. Ansari took absolute care being very accommodative to our needs.

Cons:

The value for the cottage could’ve been more rationalized as the room is very small. The pillows have become old and not fit for use.
