- The Gymnasium (lockers and changing facility) is operational from 07:00 to 22:00 hrs daily. The steam and shower facilities are available.
- The Swimming pool is operational from 06:00 to 22:00 hrs daily.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Everything in the hotel is wonderful
I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for a truly wonderful stay. The entire experience—from the smooth check-in and beautiful room decor to a late check-out with a spectacular view—was exceptional. While my wife and I missed out on the pool because we were catching up on sleep(gutted to miss it), we thoroughly enjoyed the superb breakfast and the amazing property tour led by your historian.
Special recognition goes to Mrs. Prerna(duty manager), Mrs. Abeer(guest relations), and Mr. Percy (hisotrian) for their tremendous hospitality and assistance. We also want to thank the many other team members—including the wonderful staff at the breakfast area, concierge, bell desk, and housekeeping—who made every interaction so seamless and professional.
A special shoutout also goes to the valet, security, and bell desk teams for assisting us with everything we needed, especially while working in this scorching heat.
You made our special day truly memorable, and we only wish to visit and stay at this property more frequently. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
Room service was excellent.
I was very dissapointed with the service at the shamiana restaurant down stairs.The Dinner service.The staff never bothered to ask if I would be interested in any beverages/ drinks.The first approach was after 20min sitting on the table.The first order service came after 40min.main course another 30min and dessert after another 30 min.Too long for a set menu.I was expecting a buffet rather than a set menu which would save a lot of time helping my self rather than a long wait at the table expecting to be approached and served by staff with long gaps in service.
It is the Taj so there is history & heritage.
Location - very very noisy with traffic sounds late into the night and very difficult, almost impossible, to access on Sundays as the police block traffic and don’t allow taxis to access.
I tried the swimming pool and there was far too much chlorine in the water with a pH level of 7.0 making the water too acidic. Ideal pH level is between 7.2 and 7.4

Loved the facilities and standards of the hotel, this is true gem in the city! Loved the welcome by the staff, they did pooja and tika as well as gave Tulsi Mala to wear as a local tradition! I was offered a corner room with sea view which gave me privilege to have an Excellent view of the gate way of India as well as the sea view!
Didn't like the fact i had to wait 30 minutes for plates and crockery and my food went cold, staff did apologise and warmed the food up again for me which was very nice of them but still room for improvements!
