Pros:

Very friendly staff. Good service, enjoyed the heritage walk, beautiful ambience and tradition. Such an amazing landmark in Mumbai. Great location too.

Cons:

The wire mesh screen in our room (804) was filthy and could not slide open. We specifically asked for a sea facing room and were really disappointed with the whole balcony area.

It's the Taj darling!!!
Pros:

The Taj is a treat with opulence next to none.
You can feel this history as you walk around the hotel.

Cons:

Atmosphere can be lacking as wealthy people don't tend to chat and trot around with an air of self-importance.
It's hard not to do the same when you are inside. The same happens in Business Class.

Pros:

We booked Taj Mahal Palace for our daughter's birthday. We wanted to make this occasion memorable but it turned out to be one of the most memorable moments ever.

Excellent as usual
Pros:

Excellent as usual. Taj is always different level than other hotel, and the Taj Tower is the jewel of the crown.
Breakfast is amazing, the staff very helpful and the lounge in the palace is the best experience.

Highly recommend.
Pros:

We received a very warm welcome and excellent hospitality. Our butler Prasad went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. All the staff members provided outstanding service and helped make my father's 80th birthday special. The room in the Palace was just beautiful with views of Gateway of India. We had a very memorable stay.
