Näimme koskiesityksen, joka olikin reissun päätarkoitus.
Pros:

Aamiainen hyvä ja monipuolinen. Sijainti ja ympäristö kaunis.

Cons:

Huoneemme väliovi viereiseen huoneeseen oli jäänyt (siivoojaltako) lukitsematta. Ilmoitimme asiasta respaan ja henkilökunta kävi lukitsemassa ovet. Jäi ikävä tunne, olimmehan huoneesta jonkun aikaa pois ja kaikki tavarst jäivät huoneeseen. Asia vaivasi henkisesti koko reissun ajan. Odotimme jonkunlaista hyvitystä, mutta saimme vain pahoittelut.

Great stay, beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Rooms were very nice with beautiful detail, we loved our balcony. The sauna at the spa was nice. The whole hotel had a lot of character and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The rapids are spectacular.

Cons:

We stayed on a Saturday so there was a bit of noise from the bar in the evening, but went to sleep anyway.

Vierailu Valtionhotellissa
Pros:

Kaunis hotelli, ihana henkilökunta! Henkilökunta piti huolen että kaikki pyynnöt hoidettiin heti, tuli todella arvostettu olo. Lämpimät karjalanpiirakat oli maistuvia.

Cons:

En tiennyt varausta tehdessäni että joudumme "uudelle puolelle" jonne kulkeminen yhdyskäytävän kautta oli kolkko ja tylsä. Koko käytävä jossa perhehuoneemme oli, haisi aivan märältä koiralta. Olisi ollut kiva yöpyä ihan itse linnassa. Ensi kerralla sitten osaan! Vessassa oli yöllä sokeritoukka (huone 2019) ja aamiaisella talon pannukakku näytti todella hyvältä, mutta olikin harmiksemme todella suolainen ja pahanmakuinen.

Upea rakennus hienolla paikalla kosken äärellä entisöity perinteitä kunnioittaen. Mahtava henkilökunta. Runsas monipuolinen ja herkullinen aamiainen perinneherkkuineen.

Cons:

Huoneesta puuttui ilmastointi eikä ikkunaa saanut avattua. Kesällä tulee kuuma. Tuuletin auttoi hieman.
