Pros:

We experienced excellent facilities and comfort during our stay here. The location is superb.

Cons:

Small issue with the slow drainage of the sink in the bathroom. Not enough to spoil our stay.

Up-scale with a good breakfast, but a bit expensive
Pros:

Reasonably fancy, great breakfast, friendly staff. A good location, quite central and easy to navigate to and from. They also have a pillow menu in the room although we didn't end up using it.

Cons:

The blinds didn't quite cover the windows and let in quite a lot of light through the sides. Being a more expensive hotel, we had expected better quality blinds to help with the summer sun.

Excellent accommodations, location, staff!
Pros:

Excellent/superior breakfast. Beautiful room. Balcony was worth the extra cost! We enjoyed the scenery and the nearby park and watching the daily life of the locals passing by.
Concierge service was excellent. Excellent staff.

Comfortable and excellent location
Pros:

Excellent location in easy walking distance of good restaurants though the public transport was brilliant. Very good breakfast. And very comfortable room

Cons:

It was hot in Stockholm and we had picked a standard room that does not have A/C- needed to up grade (to superior room) that was expensive.

Comfy, convenient, complete.
Pros:

Hotel Rival, and our stay, were simply excellent. Wonderful service, comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast, convenient location. The hotel was one of the best parts of Stockholm for us, all the way to the sandwiches freshly prepared for our 6:00 AM departure. A perfect hotel, tbh.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rival. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect—just a pleasant walk to Gamla Stan, with the beautiful Mariatorget park right in front of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay at the Hotel Rival in Stockholm Södermalm.
Pros:

The standard rooms are a bit small, but very clean and exactly as described on the website. The excellent water pressure in the shower is particularly noteworthy.
The location is ideal for a day trip to Stockholm. Quiet yet centrally located, the Old Town is easily accessible on foot or quickly reached by subway or bus.
Bus stops are located right next to the hotel.

All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good and is served until noon on weekends.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.

This is a well-designed hotel with a soul. The upscale features with comfy beds, quiet rooms, and great breakfasts

This is the most well-designed hotel with a soul. The custom features of this hotel are almost unlimited from the upscale bathrooms to the lighted closets and auto window awnings.and beyond. But the friendly service is what really gets you:,it seemed like our rooms were serviced 3x a day with turn-down service and daily glass-bottled water. The complimentary breakfast not only included a magnificent spread but also à la cart menu. The hotel is amazingly quiet across from a city park and the beds are very comfy. By the way, the food in their tavern was also perfect. Perfect place.
