Still one of the better options in Lourdes, but it used to be better
Pros:

Having stayed here before, we unfortunately felt that the overall experience is not quite at the same level as it used to be. The rooms are rather small and now feel somewhat dated, while the hotel’s two elevators are slow and clearly insufficient when the property is busy. At times, the staff also seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests.

That said, the hotel still has some important advantages. The location is excellent, particularly for anyone visiting the Sanctuary, which is only about a five-minute walk away. The restaurant is also very good and remains one of the stronger points of the property.

Despite the shortcomings, we still consider it a better option than many of the other hotels available in Lourdes. With some refurbishment and improvements to the overall operation, it could easily return to the standard we remembered from previous stays.

Bon hôtel mais trop cher pour ce que c’est
Pros:

L’emplacement et le confort qui est compliqué à trouver à lourdes

Cons:

Pour la propreté il ne faut pas trop s’attarder sur les détails et le petit déjeuner est trop cher par rapport à la qualité des produits qu’ils proposent

Buena opción para alojarse en Lourdes
Pros:

El hotel Mercure de Lourdes está situado cerca de la basílica (a unos 10 minutos caminando), en una zona donde hay muchos hoteles. Es grande, eso hace que parezca algo despersonalizado, pero tiene todo lo necesario que uno busca en un hotel en el que se va a quedar solamente una noche o dos.

Cons:

En la página de Booking ponía que había aparcamiento, pero al llegar al hotel, resultó que ya estaba completo. ¡No es tan fácil aparcar en Lourdes! Sin embargo, en el hotel nos dijeron un estacionamiento público cercano y pudimos dejar allí el coche fácilmente.

A fuir si vous recherchez un hôtel 4 étoiles

L’emplacement

Cons:

Les chambres sont vieillissantes pas digne d’un 4 étoiles rideaux troués, salle d’eau bac à douche moisi avec un rideau de douche moisi.
Dans une chambre double standard une vulgaire canette d’eau 33cl pour deux !
Le prix du petit déjeuner 19 € par personne pour un buffet vide dès 9 h !!

Mercurial Mercure. Almost brilliant.
Pros:

Great location, good price, standard stuff made better by great staff.

Cons:

It’s a bit tired but my main observation is that the set up for breakfast was lacking. Not sufficient space and too few staff meant we had to search for basics like glasses and cutlery .
