The lighting in the room is extremely dark so if you’re a female trying to get ready for an event you seriously may want to have a backup plan.. other than the lighting, The room itself was okay however the hospitality - NOT so much. Initial impressions speak volumes, and my initial impression here was that I was being a bother to the staff because I needed to check-in .. The two Front desk staff working on Saturday afternoon, May 16th, 2026 were not welcoming or friendly whatsoever. No one would acknowledge me after standing at the desk for several minutes which was very unprofessional. Now mind you the 2 employees were just there chatting with each other - not helping anyone else, not on the phone assisting another customer, just chatting. That was a poor start to the stay. That evening after going to a rehearsal dinner, we found out that since we were part of a ‘wedding block), we should have been given 2 welcome's gift bags which had been provided by the wedding planner. We Had to go back to the front desk to request them (again a bother).. Also after returning from dinner, we tried to go to the bar to have an evening nightcap however we were quickly informed by the very packed lobby of other guests that the bar was closed because the bartender ‘called out)’. When we inquired at the front desk about whether or not there may be a backup, the front desk staff just shrugged their shoulders and said Nope. After experiencing all of this we really regretted booking here. UPDATE: today, May 20th 2026, I have been trying to call the front desk repeatedly to ask about a lost and found item all through out today. NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable.
ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.
BREAKFAST WAS GREAT
CONVENIENT TO MY OFFICE 2 MINUTES AWAY.
PARKING
The breakfast was excellent with many healthy options and very good coffee. The breakfast staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was perfectly clean with plenty of towels.
The gym wasn't open. The fire alarm went off around 7 am 3 mornings in a row.
Front desk lady very helpful
Complimentary water and breakfast. Bar was nice
A bit pricey.
Comfortable and quiet room, good breakfast, friendly staff. Kitchenette. Tarrytown is delightful.
Generally room fittings were in need of updating.
The rooms were very spacious and had a lot of storage. The beds were very comfortable. There was a good amount of tables and space where the breakfast was served, and also in the general seating area. It was also great to have a microwave and coffee machine in the room, as well as all-day access to the machines downstairs.
The breakfast was good for the most part, but it would've been nice to have non-pork options for the meat. We were only able to eat eggs from the warm food section. The rooms could've also used a little more lighting.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were super friendly, room was very comfortable
nothing
Convenient location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Overall, it met our needs for a brief overnight stay.
Our room looked into a covered parking garage, literally with a car parked up against the only window in the room. For $200 per night I didn't expect a room in the basement. Would have been terrible if spending more than one night.
The hotel was clean and decent, but last time I checked, their complementary breakfast ends at 9am. Guests beware that this means that the kitchen will start to close down at 8:40… and while the late-comers are trying to get their breakfasts, kitchen staff will be putting items away around you and making sure toppings are put away before the oatmeal is gone and making sure that all the milk is in the fridge before putting away the cereal and that the waffle makers are turned off, so your waffle won’t cook through in a timely manner. And just before you take out your underdone waffle, the staff will swiftly clear away the syrup and all toppings. Breakfast was delicious, just be down early. ( I have ann even better idea. Hotel staff could wait to close down the kitchen until 9 o’clock in the morning and THEN put away all of the kitchen things without the guests in the way.)
