Three very good nights in Trier….lots of Roman stuff to visit’ plus the Karl Marx birthplace was very interesting.
Pros:

Great position for Trier sites and restaurants and car park on site. The Wellness and Spa area was excellent. Great breakfast buffet.

Pros:

Staff attentive, professional, friendly. I arrived at the Hotel late so couldn't make full use of Wellness facilities. Nice selection of hot and cold options and breakfast. Spacious room, quiet. Hotel location good for exploring local area

Cons:

Electric plug socket location in the room, took a while for me to find under the bedside tables. I liked the wireless charge lamp as interim.

Sehr gut, Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Pros:

Wir haben schon oft im Park Plaza übernachtet, uns gefällt dieses Hotel. Lage, Service, Frühstück und Parkmöglichkeiten sind super. Sehr schöne Lobby, Bar und sehr gutes Restaurant.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, aber bezüglich Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen. Muss es in einem modernen Hotel unbedingt noch ein Teppich sein?

In Ordnung, aber für den Preis fraglich.
Pros:

Die zentrale Lage ist ein großer Vorteil, das Personal sehr freundlich, die Betten komfortabel!
Auch die Sauna-Anlage im obersten Stockwerk gefiel uns gut.

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfinden wir im Vgl. zu anderen Hotelerfahrungen fragwürdig. Einerseits kommen zum recht hohen Zimmerpreis weitere "Extras" kostenpflichtig dazu (Frühstück knapp 30€ p.P., Sauna und Sauna-Garderobe - generell nicht inbegriffen, Parkplatz Gebühren - kennt man ja), andererseits muss man gewisse Defizite in Kauf nehmen (keine freien Steckdosen für eigene elektr. Devices, Anschlussproblem mit Heißwasserkocher, Dusche in Badewanne). Zwar war alles sauber gehalten, doch sah man beim Übergang Waschtisch/-Becken, dass die Kante (Silikon?) dreckig oder schimmelig war. Sprich, man bekommt den Eindruck, dass modernisiert werden dürfte.

Excellent City Hotel
Pros:

The Park Plaza Trier is exactly what you would expect from a quality city hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Trier’s main attractions. We were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return.

Alles perfekt - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Lage und Zimmer, Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig. Kurzum absolut empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Einziger Kritikpunkt: dass man bei einem Businesshotel nicht mehr als drei Geräte pro Zimmer mit dem Wifi verbinden kann - ungewohnt und wenig praktisch.
