Fabulous location for a city break
Pros:

Excellent location, only a few minutes from the train station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfy bed in a very spacious bedroom. Lovely large bathroom.

Cons:

At times there was only one lift working which was insufficient in a 20 story building. We were on the 10th floor and it took a long time to get downstairs for breakfast.
The breakfast was delicious but some breakfast items were slow to be topped up when they ran out. There did appear to be a shortage of staff.

I won’t use them again for price.
Pros:

Just the location.

Cons:

It was very box standard and out dated compared to other hotels. Overpriced.
Booking .com had parking included. This is not the case. Had to park in a parking facility in the city and walk to the hotel according additional parking costs.

No fried eggs on offer only scrambled and no black pudding. Was offered refills on coffee and tea.

Ok for 1 night but won’t be staying there again.
Pros:

Very close to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the First Direct Arena.

Cons:

I booked a superior king room with a sofa bed. I messaged the Park Plaza to ensure the sofa bed was made up. They replied that they would make the sofa bed up. We got into the room and it had not been made up. The room was dusty, the carpet was stained. I actually wrote CLEAN ME in the dust in the headboard of the bed. Luckily it was a huge bed so my niece did not mind sharing with me. There are cheaper and better hotels in Leeds THAT ARE CLEAN. I.e. PREMIER INN is much better.

Pros:

Size of room, instant hot water' bath, kettle.
Linen.

Cons:

Reception at 20.30 on june 11th. Male member of staff. I asked for a room away from the music noise in City Square. Told I was on an inner room. But it was an outer one floor 15. Swapped by female receptionist to 19th floor inner. All annoying after a long journey. Even the lift journeys were long! Told to fill in email but on a square about rewards that I am not interested in. I wonder why?.....Non- room-cleaning rewards not explained clearly. Stopping for 2 nights but reward filled in as expiring 11hrs before departure time so not valid for 2nd breakfast time or late room service. Asked to speak to duty manager at 09.30 the next morning but no one came for 10min before I had to leave.

Extremely positive but with room for some minor improvements.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable room. Extremely quiet. Friendly staff. Convenient location.

Cons:

It took at least 20 mins to check in, even though there was no one else doing so. The controls on the bath/ shower were not instinctive and the water was difficult to turn off. The lift was very slow to appear, so I ended up using the stairs. The corridors smelled of air freshener.
