Trés bon hotel, super bien placé. Trés propre, le personnel du restaurant au petit dej est trés agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien entretenues.
Quelques détails qui ne méritent pas d'etre soulevés.
The breakfast was delicious. And the hotel was clean and very nice. As were the staff, very helpful.
Très bien situé. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits sont confortables (même le lit d'appoint !).
Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas inclus.
The breakfast was very good and fresh. The service staff in the dining room was very friendly.
The location for walking was really good.
The flip side of location- A LOT OF HOMELESS living in the park across the street. That was my view in the morning as they all sleep there and conjugate there. The city should do better to help these people.
The carpets were gross. Very dirty every where. Common areas elevators room.
The mattress extremely uncomfortable. The sheets and comforter were put on backwards so all the tags were in our face while sleeping.
Not to mention we were right by the elevator will all the noise. They did give us free parking to make up for the continuous noise disturbance.
The front desk staff were not warm and genuinely friendly.
Prices are WAY too high for all these issues.
I would not recommend this hotel.
Location, and the warm welcome cookies
Reasonable valet service costs, considering how expensive the lots were that we saw
Stayed here in Portland for 2 days while on a road trip up the coast. Out of 5 cities and 5 hotels, this was the worst. Everything is very outdated, carpets are very dirty with stains throughout the hotel. The door to our room was sticky all over front and back and the bathroom walls had mold on them. Towels are very cheap and thin and the pillows are completely flat. Everything you are looking for in a hotel, this one missed the mark. Not to mention there was a small dog staying in the room next door and every morning at 6:30am, the guests would leave and leave the dog locked in the bathroom where it would bark for 2 hours. Spoke to the front desk about it and they never called us back. We should have at least had the option to move rooms. At almost $500 a night, I expected so much more.
Love this hotel, but you guys removed the corn beef hash from your breakfast menu!!!! while we love this hotel one of the reasons that we love it is the wonderful breakfast that we’ve had over the years. The corn beef hash has been go to breakfast no reason for you guys to eliminate that from your menu bring it back. It’s a unique offering that makes the hotel and your breakfast something special and it’s set apart.
The staff were all outstanding.
The bathroom should be updated. For the amount of money i was charged- $487… i expect a nice bathroom. The bed was also not a king. I own a regular king bed as well as a California king. The bed in room 231, felt like a queen.
This hotel was incredibly clean and in the perfect spot close to local restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The room size was nice for our family of four, giving us plenty of space to spread out and relax in the evenings. Our room faced the street, which offered a great view for people-watching. We only heard the occasional car horn but no noise from people on the street, so it was still very restful.
At first, I was a bit annoyed that we had to use valet parking, but after seeing that there is no free parking anywhere in the area, it worked out great. The rate was very comparable to the surrounding local lots anyway. We also loved grabbing breakfast sandwiches from the hotel restaurant—they were delicious and the perfect quick bite before a day of sightseeing!
Our stay was good. but the view was not what the Booking.com website indicated it was City View."
Our view was the alley and not the city view.
Property was dated but clean
Prime location and wonderful, welcoming staff.
