Location was superb. loved being so close to the Rhine ,, Staff there were very helpful and friendly -

that our air conditioning did not work and we were it he ground floor so didn't feel safe to open our window.

we didnt have a double bed - even though I had had a conversation about that the day before we arrived
that we were not told it was advisable to book the restaurant - which we wanted to eat in

Cons:

Aircon system does not work properly. To warm in room. No taxi or uber on Sunday to hotel from bahnhof. No restaurant on Monday and Tuesday.

Toller Kurzurlaub, sehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage, Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und mit Rheinblick sehr zu genießen.
Schönes großes Zimmer. Kurzer Weg in die Innenstadt. Nettes, freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal.
Sauna/Fitnessbereich sehr schön und der Ruheraum ebenfalls mit Rheinblick.

Cons:

Leider waren die Matrazen sehr weich und ein wenig durchgelegen

A Great Stay in a Park-like setting
Pros:

We chose the hotel for its location. On the banks of the Rhine River, a short walk to the center of Bonn. A beautifully landscaped lawn/garden area with seating for relaxing, watching the boats and ships on the river and with the cooling breeze coming off the river. A huge and lovely park across the road and very close to the university.

The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to any queries.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

We are not fans of the European standard of two single beds pretending to be a Queen or King bed with two duvets which even combined are not big enough.

The breakfast - a full buffet - was pricey and there was no a-la-carte option. We eat a healthy breakfast when travelling and 22 euros each (about Cdn$72 for two) was on the high side. For big breakfast eaters it was excellent.
