Useful accommodation in Lyon
Pros:

Excellent location right next to metro, tram and train hub so very easy to get anywhere, also only 20 minutes to the old town. Loved the water refill station.

Cons:

Very small shower cubicle. Bedroom was very compact, not enough space for two people to put their bags.

Verkehrsgünstig und freundlich
Pros:

Verkehrsgünstig für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gelegen und in ca 25 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt.

Cons:

Wir wollten 2x abends im Hotel essen. Beim 1. Mal gab es nur noch wenige Reste an Fertig-Pizza zur Auswahl. Beim 2. Mal wurde uns gesagt, heute gibt es kein Essen. Es wäre schön gewesen, das im Vorfeld zu erfahren.

A conveniently located hotel close to old town Lyon.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us - near Lyon Perrache station.

Cons:

The room was small. The toilet "throne" was too low and seemed likely to fall down at any time! The TV didn't have any English channels, not even BBC World Service!

Perfectly ok for one night en route to somewhere
Pros:

clean and secure with big car park very near as are train, tram and bus. Reception were efficient and friendly as were breakfast staff.

Cons:

Surrounding area not the best and and finding how to get into the car park was a challenge

Hotel was in a good location

We found some of the staff to be quite indifferent to our concerns/issues re a leaking shower and clothes getting wet.

Excellent point de départ pour visiter la ville de Lyon
Pros:

Chambre au calme côté cour, assez spacieuse pour 2 personnes, lits très confortables, insonorisation très correcte.
Petit déjeuner très varié, beaucoup de choix : du salé cuisiné chaud, du salé froid, du sucré (viennoiseries, cake, brioche, crêpes, pancakes,...) fruits, yaourts, ...
Emplacement stratégique pour visiter le centre-ville de Lyon à pied et tram à 2 pas.

Cons:

La chambre était un peu sombre du fait qu'elle donnait côté cour et que nous n'étions pas au dernier étage.
Climatisation bruyante.
L'absence de ménage durant notre séjour de 3 nuits alors que nous avions demandé à ce qu'il soit effectué (il y a eu simplement le changement des serviettes et les lits faits).
Avant notre arrivée, la poussière était très présente sur le radiateur de la salle de bain, et toile d'araignée au plafond.
Il est regrettable que le poulet du petit-déjeuner soit exclusivement "hallal".

convenient for us but room very disappointing.
Pros:

Breakfast acceptable. Location superb with easy access to arrange we wanted to visit and with some superb restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Cons:

Room far too small. Toilet area totally far too small and tight to clean yourself properly so had to resort to shower to do this.

It was just ok…
Pros:

Location was great, even if it’s on a bunch of tram lanes so it’s loud.

Cons:

There are no decent quiet rooms. If you want a quiet room you need to put up with lack of natural light. The hotel staff wanted to seem helpful but actually didn’t do much to try to find me a quieter room.
