My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza London Docklands for four days last weekend, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, it was spotless, smelt great, has fabulous amenities and a fantastic restaurant & bar, making it an ideal base for our stay in London. Our room was huge with everything we could possibly need including a Nespresso machine. Despite the busy area and room was perfectly quiet and given the heatwave we were very grateful for the air conditioning.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to the staff in the bar and restaurant, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and cheerful attitude made every meal a pleasure.
The food was outstanding, the small plates and burgers were a huge hit. I would definitely recommend eating in the hotel during your stay because it was definitely the best food around and we tried everywhere 😂 The buffet breakfast deserves particular praise—it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced and for context we have a minimum of 20-30 hotel stays a year. The selection was extensive, with a fantastic variety of hot and cold options, fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, and drinks, all beautifully presented and regularly replenished. There was truly something for everyone, and it set us up perfectly for each day.
Thank you to everyone at the Crowne Plaza London Docklands for making our stay so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, and we look forward to returning in the future.

The Room was great and we had an excellent breakfast. The staff were friendly. We used the spa facilities and it was all excellent value for money.
The lift didn't work well and the plug in the basin in my room was stuck but those are just minor problems.
Excellent Past time improvement & impressive amount of money can be seen spent on modern style renovation work .
Not practical to let your visitors come to your rooms unless they have a room card which only allows u to operate the lifts to the hotel Floors. Therefore u need to be present at the reception area, however its understandable for security reasons to stop strays from roaming the building.
Excellent, My girlfriend enjoyed this very much. It was ideal as we had a concert at the O2 and was very close to it. This was her very first time in London and this hotel has made a very good impact on her experience. Thank you very much, I will be back.

The room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent.
Waiting at the check in queue for over half an hour.
Also.. the pool was taken over with kids swimming lessons for just about most of the day.. we booked in because we thought we would get a spa experience but we didn't get that at all. It was like a creche.. not relaxing. You should tell people before they book.

Lifts take an age - everyone I met complained about them. Only two for the whole hotel, needed at least double. Bar shut early.
