Warning: Valuable Items Missing After Hotel Returned Our Bag

Thieves. Do NOT Stay Here.

Consider this your warning: do not stay at this hotel.

My brother-in-law accidentally left his toiletry bag in the room after we checked out. Inside was a very expensive watch, along with cologne and beard oil. As we were leaving, we even saw the housekeeper just a few rooms away, so we never imagined there would be an issue.

When we arrived at our next hotel, he realized he had forgotten the bag and immediately called. He was told housekeeping had already left for the day and to call back the following morning.

The next morning, the hotel confirmed they had found his bag. He drove an hour back to retrieve it, only to discover that the watch, cologne, and beard oil were missing.

Because of the value of the watch, a police report was filed and a detective has been assigned to investigate.

Someone had access to his belongings while they were in the hotel’s possession, and valuable items disappeared before they were returned. That is completely unacceptable.

Until management takes responsibility and addresses what happened, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. We will also be sharing our experience on social media to help warn other travelers.

It was a nice stay but TV should be updated to support offered streaming!
Pros:

Beds were very comfy… things were clean… nice size Hot Tub and pool

Cons:

The TV did not have pairing capabilities… Also when I tried to sign in to my account the HDMI could not support the movies from Netflix and Prime… very disappointing

Pros:

It was cute, conveniently located and they offered a nice breakfast.

Cons:

For how nice the place was the tv stand had old deep damage on it. Seemed odd that they would have not fixed that. Also the ceiling was a different color creating a fence shui effect that made the room feel super short.

Not as nice as the photos online.
Pros:

Not much.

Cons:

Man at the check in was not friendly and could have been more accommodating when I told him I didn't have my ID with me. I offered a photo of my ID and he said he couldn't use a copy.
The breakfast was terrible AND the area for getting food was way to crowded with no place to sit inside. It was a cool overcast day, so I didn't want to sit outside.

We would definitely stay again!
Pros:

Amazing pool! Rooms were very clean with everything you need on site. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Good value, clean and comfortable
Pros:

The room was spacious and well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. They offer a pretty good breakfast too.

Cons:

It was very busy when we arrived and the check-in took a LONG time. Loud music in the pool area did not feel relaxing!
