Pros:

Old world charm, complementary breakfast, very nice staff, location was good distance from the tourist mayhem of Temple Bar but also close enough to walk to that area and other site seeing attractions

Frühstück zufrieden , Lage sehr zufrieden man muste nicht weit gehn Bus ,Tram 5min ,Zug 15 min. ,Tempelbar 15 min. Zimmer zufrieden mit der Einrichtung ,sauber gut .

Cons:

War grade sehr Sommerlig warm ,Zimmer fast Sauna zur Sonnenseite.

Castle Hotel Short Stay
Pros:

Comfortable rooms with good facilities. Fan was welcome.
Food and entertainment great. Breakfast was exceptional.
The staff were helpful and courteous. We felt safe. It is a 15 min walk to City Centre but plenty of buses. Overall an enjoyable stay visiting family.

Cons:

If we had known there were so many steps in the hotel we would not have booked. This should be mentioned in the hotel profile. We asked for adjoining rooms but there was one in between. There was a 4 inch step up to the bathroom..a real trip hazard.

Beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Hotel
Pros:

Die Lage war gut. Das Frühstück reichhaltig als Büffet serviert. Im Souterrain gab es noch einen Frühstücks Raum in dem irisches warmes Frühstück serviert wurde. Das haben wir nicht getestet.

Cons:

Das Personal am Empfang ist überwiegend abwesend und man kommt sich nicht als Gast sondern Störenfried vor. Vor allem der ältere Herr mit der Brille. Wir bekamen anfangs das Zimmer 128 was sehr geschmacklos eingerichtet war, für 209 Euro die Nacht schäbig mit einer offenen Dusche im Bad sodass beim Duschen das ganze Bad unter Wasser steht. Für ein vier Sterne Hotel ein no Go. Nach Reklamation haben wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen in dem es durch die Sonneneinstrahlung gefühlt 50 Grad heiß war. Keiner kam mal auf die Idee die Fenster zu öffnen. Erst nach zwei Tagen wurde die Sperre an den Fenstern entfernt da man diese nur etwa fünf Zentimeter öffnen konnte. Ein schlafen ohne Ventilator unmöglich.

Lovely furniture if we like Irish old style

Good location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

The location is good, close to O'Connell Street. The hotel is classy, with well-appointed lounge areas. On-site bar and restaurant offer good food options and the luve music is a great bonus.

Cons:

The room I had was bereft of storage space and the hot water in the shower stopped working and was not rectified before I left.

Overall - bad first hotel experience of Dublin. Didnt enjoy going back to the hotel after a day out

Staff were very friendly and welcoming Breakfast was good. Room was clean Convenience of a Car Park

Cons:

There was no Air Conditioning and it was extremely hot in the room - couldnt sleep for 2 nights Windows didnt open properly so no fresh air No cooling fan in room No fridge for cold drinks. No safe for valuables. The outside street noice was horrendous - all day and night - could not sleep properly. Floor boards creaking above us and in the corridor - every time somebody moved. Location within the City was further out than indicated
