The staff was great. I didn’t catch the pretty black ladies name that checked us in. I love having the hash and eggs in the morning real eggs that breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast staff was awesome. Very friendly felt like family talking to them. Check in and out was easy.
I can honestly say it was nothing. I didn’t like, parking was a little short, but other than that, it was fine for where my room was located on the backside.

The staff sought to help us.
Hotel built in too small of a space. One way road around property and rooms are accessed from outside. Originally they had us on second floor, meaning we would have to climb outside steps. My wife walks with a cane. So they found a downstairs room for us. The moment we entered room we were overwhelmed with a bleach smell. My wife has COPD. All surfaces were wet. We tried cleaning it up, leaving for supper and came back to same smell. Though they tried to get us another room, we chose not to stay there. We left and found a room at another hotel near by.
The picture did not match the hotel
The pool could not be used due to algae. This hotel was booked as we were here for a baseball tournament and the pool was unusable in 100 degree temps. We saw the pool as soon as arriving and advised they were working on it; however, as we were leaving on Sunday, it was just starting to clear. I think there should be some kind of refund issued. The breakfast was subpar: food was not as hot as could have been. Paper plates were stuck to the table and tabletops could have been cleaner. The grounds around the building needed to be landscaped. They needed to be weeded and the trees trimmed. Grounds were almost to the point of being overgrown. The site was not as appealing as it could have been. The access in the driveway was very narrow to get to the back of the building. If there was an emergency, I don't think a firetruck or ambulance would be able to maneuver this drive. I chose Best Western from past experience and as a comparable price compared to some other chains in the area. I don't know if I will continue to stay at Best Western in the future. Sorry as I neglected to take pictures as I didn't really think it was necessary.

Breakfast coukd use a change in items.
Location was so-so.Zero restaurants within a 3 block walk, no coffee maker, lobby (which had coffee) closed sometime during the night. Floors were absolutely filthy

Thay gave our booked beach front room away had no washcloths till the last day beach was not well groomed and very unwalkable not true to pictures
