My overall stay was fine.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

There was a price for breakfast. How can you charge the customers for a "Continental breakfast " and $2.00 which should be free. That is absurd. Also when I checked in the front desk person just handed me my keys and did not say another word. I had to ask her if there was breakfast. Customer service on her part was not great but overall the staff was very nice.

Bed sliep goed, geen schoonmaak! Alles zelf vragen bij de receptie. Zwembad was alleen de laatste dag open...... ontbijt is lekker. Goeie mooie locatie.

Cons:

Dat er geen enkele keer schoon gemaakt is.
Handdoeken en wc papier zelf moeten vragen bij de receptie.....

Front staff with attitude and room, not ready until 5 o’clock
Pros:

Reception woman extremely unfriendly with an attitude. The room was not ready at 4:30 in the afternoon and we’re told to sit down and wait. We’re not even greeted with a hello or offered water while we waited for over half an hour along with other guests for our room to be ready. Then showed additional attitude while finally checking us in. Very unfriendly. Will not go back here.

Cons:

A courteous greeting would have been niceespecially given we had a wait over half an hour for our room and were late for dinner as a result.

Good and bad
Pros:

We stay at this property somewhat frequently when we visit family. It's in a good location for our purpose. The property has been undergoing renovations, which appear to be nearing completion.

Check in was easy and the desk agent was very nice. Our room was a junior suite, which has a good layout for our needs. It was a renovated room with new, modern furniture and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service was lacking. We found quite a bit of hair on the shower drain and, even though it seemed to have been renovated, the caulk was discolored and cracked.

The hotel has breakfast service and the continental breakfast is mostly covered by the Hhonors credit. Unfortunately, it was a fairly week buffet. There were some bagels and pastry and a limited amount of fruit. This used to be much better and is better at most HGI properties.

With a few improvements, this could be an excellent property.

Disappointing
Pros:

Will not pay for a continental breakfast at any hotel

Cons:

Our air conditioner was so loud , you couldn’t hear the tv or sleep. We checked in on Friday. And was told no maintenance person til Monday and no other rooms available our size. We received no housekeeping. Not even towels. I had to go to the front desk to get towels. We will not be back at this location.
