We first discovered Mandarin Oriental when we attended their wedding showcase in 2025 and were immediately captivated by how beautiful the ballroom setup was, from the grand chandeliers to the massive LED screens. We were warmly welcomed by Elena, who professionally walked us through the packages and showed us around the ballroom, solemnisation room, and bridal suite. We knew right then that Mandarin Oriental was our top choice; in fact, we even changed our wedding date just so we could celebrate here!
The entire planning process was seamless thanks to our hotel manager, Sharlyn. She was proactive, organized, responsive, and always patient with our endless questions. She even took the time to stay with us during our AV check a few days before the wedding. She truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Fast forward to the actual day, the ballroom was decorated so beautifully by the hotel team alongside our florist, Arthur from Aces of Vase. The bridal suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully prepared by the housekeeping team, and breakfast at Embu was fantastic!
Throughout the day, we were supported by an remarkably efficient, hardworking, and warm team:
Banquet Manager: Jegan
Bridal Assistant: Jewel – A special thank you for helping me with my gowns, looking after my bouquet, and bringing food to our room for my husband and me while we prepared for our second march-in!
AV Manager: Sathia
They allowed the day to run smoothly without us having to worry about a single thing, letting us just be present and enjoy every moment!
Good food was our top priority, and we are so grateful that our guests loved it as much as we did! Everyone has been raving about the banquet. A huge thank you to Chef Andrew and his entire culinary crew for preparing the BEST wedding spread we’ve ever had. We also deeply appreciated how seamlessly all special dietary requirements were handled, as well as the thoughtful gesture of saving warm food for us to enjoy after the reception ended, it truly meant the world to us!
We are so happy to have celebrated our wedding at Mandarin Oriental. We also enjoyed our stay and can't thank the entire staff enough for their incredible hospitality. We will definitely recommend Mandarin Oriental to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding venue!!
We recently held our wedding at Mandarin Oriental Singapore, and we were so glad that we went ahead with them.
The entire planning process was smooth and reassuring. Our hotel manager (Sharlyn) was incredibly responsive, organized, and patient with our endless questions and last-minute requests.
The ballroom (The Oriental Ballroom) was very spacious and featured a wide screen that provides a wonderful background with the correct picture and specs.
Service was great, and the team worked so efficiently behind the scenes that we never had to worry about a single thing.
One of the biggest highlights was the food. Our guests were still talking about it after the wedding saying that the food was good and the portions are huge. The quality, presentation, and service were outstanding, and many of our guests told us it was one of the best wedding banquets they had attended.
What impressed us most, however, was the genuine hospitality from every member of the team. They offered to set up the reception lobby the night before as they saw me struggle with some of the set up. It genuinely felt like everyone wanted our day to be as special as we did.
As with any events, there will be bound to have small hip cups but the team resolved it quickly after we raised it up.
We also appreciated all the little touches that made the experience memorable, from the beautiful huge bridal suite to the professionalism of every staff member we interacted with. Those details made a huge difference.
A wedding is one of the biggest milestones in life, and we are glad that we chose Mandarin Oriental Singapore to celebrate ours. Thank you to the entire team for giving us a day that we—and our guests—will remember for a lifetime. We would not hesitate to recommend Mandarin Oriental Singapore to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding venue.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. The service is excellent, the property is modern, and the restaurants are very good. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with beautiful views over the city.
The main downside is the breakfast experience. Hotel guests often have to wait in a long line to get a table, especially on Sundays when many non-residents come for breakfast. The atmosphere can become quite noisy and feels more like a cafeteria than a five-star hotel. In those circumstances, the level of service unfortunately does not match what one would expect from a luxury property.
In my opinion, hotel guests should not have to queue for a table at breakfast.
Dear staff of house 65,
You made our family vacation truly amazing with your superb care.
We were absolutely thrilled either your kind service, your good tips and care.
We love staying in the Mandarin oriental in Singapore. It’s our favorite place to stay.
We would like to say special thanks to Brittany, who made marvelous pictures of our last evening.
Thank you!
We recently held our wedding lunch at Mandarin Oriental Singapore in January 2026, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
As the couple, we honestly didn't have to worry about a single thing — the entire team took care of every detail, right down to the little things like making sure we actually got to eat and stayed hydrated throughout the event! The team here made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way.
A huge thank you to the incredible team who made our day so special:
Letitia (Events) was simply outstanding throughout our entire planning journey. Her meticulous planning and coordination meant everything ran like clockwork on the day itself. In the months leading up to the wedding, she patiently answered our countless questions (and we had a LOT!), always responding promptly and thoroughly. Her calm, organized, and caring approach gave us so much peace of mind — we genuinely felt like we were in the best hands possible.
Daniel (Banquet) for overseeing the service so smoothly on the day itself
Alice (Wedding Butler) who anticipated our every need and made sure we never had to lift a finger
Chef Andrew and Chef Tan for the absolutely delicious spread that our guests are still talking about, especially the cod fish
Redzuan (AV) for flawless sound and audiovisual support throughout the event
Thanks to this wonderful team, we were able to relax, be present, and truly enjoy our own wedding — which is such a rare gift. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team to help us celebrate this milestone.
Highly recommend Mandarin Oriental Singapore for anyone planning their wedding!
Rejuvenated by a recent multimillion dollar renovation, MO packs a punch.
Located on the northern end of Marina Bay, our 20th floor room is picture postcard. To the left, the gigantic Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion in the foreground, the historic Fullerton Hotel at the river’s edge and the wonderful blend of super high tech financial skyscrapers shadowing historic St Andrew’s Cathedral and the Singapore National Gallery.
The foyer is busy but a super quick elevator ride to Haus 65 on the 21st floor delivers us to a serene haven which we didn’t leave, except for a quick drink at the legendary MO Bar.
Breakfast in the sky is tranquil but the complimentary afternoon teas are epic. Gluten free for my wife….wow this is out of this world! Adorned with unlimited bubbles and graceful service, this is the place to be. We retreat to our room for a few hours to contemplate the world, the humidity knocking against our window with the busy activity of builders below, extending the virtues of this Asian metropolis.
Pre-dinner drinks and food absolutely delicious again in the exclusive lounge. Another Negroni, why not, it’s hot outside and I need hydration!! To be honest, you could stay here all day.
A special thank you to Jaya, a gentleman above all. A special human! Also Sera and Brittany our wonderful hostesses in the sky, a big thank you!!
Admittedly this isn’t Raffles, but heh, Haus 65 is next level and a relaxed end to our week in the Lion City.
Clean, central and great facilities
Clean
excellent
all
Good and clean and nice hotel
Generally an ok hotel but the experience was tarnished with not great SOPs. Somehow my room was prematurely checked out and at 8 am, someone entered the room after ringing the bell twice. As i was sleeping, it took perhaps 30 seconds to reach the door when the staff opened it already. Of course, we didnt know we were checked out which meant my key card couldnt work after breakfast.
Just not a great experience considering how much was spent on the staycay. Staff was apologetic of course and we are fine. Just didnt enjoy the experience.
We had a truly wonderful family stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. As a couple travelling with our daughter, we couldn't have picked a better hotel.
Our Club Marina room was excellent—incredibly fresh, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We had a great view of the Marina Bay. We also highly recommend upgrading to Haus 65 access. The food, afternoon tea, and flowing champagne were fantastic perks that made our stay feel extra luxurious.
What made this trip stand out above the rest, however, was the incredible staff. Jaya and Brittany in Haus 65 looked after us so warmly and made us feel so special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every single day, and their kindness is what we will remember most about our stay.
We left MO Singapore so happy with our choice and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the city!
We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall.
The hotel is beautifully designed, elegant, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Marina Bay and the surrounding attractions. However, there is currently a large construction site directly in front of the hotel, which affects the immediate surroundings and view.
Our room was very stylish, modern, and comfortable. While it was on the smaller side, it was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. Next time, as a family, we would definitely book a suite to have a bit more space.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality international options. What stood out even more was the exceptional service—every member of the breakfast team was attentive, friendly, and professional.
The pool area is lovely, although it was quite busy during our stay, so finding a quiet spot could be a little challenging.
As Mandarin Oriental Pearl Members, we were a little disappointed that we did not receive a room upgrade. However, we understand that this may have been due to our reservation being made only one week before arrival and subject to availability.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The hotel’s beautiful design, excellent location, outstanding breakfast, and warm hospitality make it a great choice for anyone visiting Singapore.
Washing machine is clean
Only one shower
Our recent nine-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore was nothing short of exceptional, and the true highlight of our visit was the incredible experience we enjoyed everyday in Haus 65.
From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly departed, Linda and I were made to feel genuinely welcome. The level of hospitality, professionalism and warmth shown by every member of the Haus 65 team was simply beyond anything we have experienced elsewhere. The service was flawless—attentive without ever being intrusive—and every interaction felt sincere and personal.
We would particularly like to acknowledge the wonderful team members who made our stay so memorable: Jaya, Sarah, Albert, Timothy, Brittany, Uni, Marie and Debbie. Every one of you consistently went above and beyond, and your passion for looking after your guests was evident every single day. Unfortunately, we didn't obtain the names of the team members who quietly and efficiently cleared tables, nor the talented chefs behind the scenes, but they deserve just as much recognition. They all contributed to making Haus 65 an experience that exceeded every expectation.
The inclusions offered through Haus 65 were truly first class. The breakfasts were outstanding, afternoon tea was a daily delight, the evening canapés and dining selections were beautifully presented, the cocktails were expertly prepared, and the champagne was always served with elegance. Everything reflected the highest standards of quality and generosity. More importantly, it wasn't just the food and beverages that impressed us—it was the people delivering them with genuine pride and care.
We would also like to recognise several outstanding members of the wider Mandarin Oriental team. Rudy at Reception made our arrival effortless with a warm and professional check-in. Kei at Embu provided wonderful service. Francis, our Haus 65 driver, was always friendly, punctual and courteous. Krishna from Concierge was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout our stay.
A very special thank you also goes to Steven, Head of Food & Beverage. When I mentioned that I wanted to try an authentic traditional Singaporean coffee, Steven personally went out of his way to obtain one from a nearby local outlet. It wasn't something he had to do, but it perfectly demonstrated the genuine hospitality, initiative and commitment to guest satisfaction that defines the Mandarin Oriental Singapore. It was a thoughtful gesture that I will remember for many years.
Luxury hotels can provide beautiful rooms and facilities, but what truly distinguishes a world-class hotel is its people. The team at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore have mastered that art. Every staff member we encountered genuinely cared about ensuring our holiday was memorable, and they succeeded beyond measure.
Linda and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Haus 65 and throughout the hotel for making our holiday so special. We leave with wonderful memories, enormous appreciation, and absolutely no doubt that we will return.
Thank you all for providing one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever enjoyed.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
An absolutely outstanding stay at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore!
From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the service was flawless. Every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
A very special thank you to the amazing team at HAUS 65 Club—Uni, Marie, Brittney, and Albert. Your exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made all the difference. You always greeted us with a smile, remembered the little things, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. You truly made our stay unforgettable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, the facilities are excellent, and the overall experience was first class. It’s clear that customer service is a top priority here.
Thank you again to the entire team, especially Uni, Marie, Brittney, and Albert, for making our time in Singapore so memorable. We will definitely be recommending the Mandarin Oriental Singapore to our family and friends, and we can’t wait to return for another stay!
Was part of organising team for an event on 12 July 2026. Hanafi was one of the managers who made sure that the entire whole day event went on smoothly. As part of organising team, we had no time to eat the food catered. He went out of the way to find some of the food for some of us when we realised the buffet line was closed. Such was the service excellence that made our day.
