Flemings Hotel Bremen-Hauptbahnhof

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Teppiche auf den Fluren und im Zimmer.

Das Hotel wirkt sehr unpersönlich (z.B. Hotelhalle). Da ein Betreiberwechsel ansteht, hat man den Eindruck, dass nicht mehr viel an der Ausstattung gemacht wird (z.B. Hotelhalle, Bad: Fugen in der Dusche). Das Frühstück war im Übernachtungspreis enthalten und war ordentlich, aber wenn man es extra hätte zahlen müssen, zu teuer. Leider gibt es kein Restaurant mehr im Hotel, die Bar hatte geöffnet, aber der eigentliche Barkeeper war wohl erkrankt, die Aushilfe war sehr freundlich, wirkte aber überfordert.

Maybe the pillow is too soft, but that’s mainly personal preference.

There were disturbing features. I am a regular guest, my flight was an early one, I arrived at the hotel 5 hours early. I was aware that check in was at 2. Fair enough but two concerns. First, the gentleman (I use the term gentleman advisedly) at reception (corpulent, sparse white hair) was brusque and I mean brusque in informing me that I should kick my heels in the city centre for 5 hours which I had no alternative than to do..I am not accustomed to being spoken to, rudely, in that way in circumstances where I am paying for a service. There was no possibility of misunderstanding him. My German was at least the equal of his. Secondly. and not left to subordinate personnel such as him but within the purview of senior management, aware as the hotel must be that early arriving flights means early arriving guests, either the 2pm check in rule should be waived as an exercise of discretion or a nominal extra charge for early check-in might be levied. The hotel was empty, I could easily have been accommodated, I was left- a regular guest - to wander the streets for 5 hours- and I did not like this start to my stay.. I returned at 12, more rudeness from the corpulent white haired gentleman, I came back at 2.05, a young trainee type at reception said my room was still not ready. I was aghast. I slightly lost my temper, threatened, presciently, a dissatisfied review whereupon my room was there and then made available. This is wholly unprofessional conduct. I am uncertain whether I wish again to stay in your hotel which otherwise over the years has been exemplary. I expect a written apology not from the trainee who I do not hold responsible for either policy or ad hoc decisions but I expect one now. from the arrogant individual who spoke to me so shockingly badly on 2 occasions that I have been driven to write this review.

Die Lüftungsanlage war so laut, dass ich das Zimmer wechseln musste. Auch hört man zur Bahnseite die Güterzüge recht laut. Insgesamt fand ich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr so gut wie früher im ICE-Hotel.

Despite the room was available for earlier check-in, the hotel asked for 30 EUR to check-in at noon (rather than at 3pm), which is not a very customer friendly policy (specifically, when the room is ready and no extra effort is needed). Room cleaning is only on demand, no amenities (such as body lotion) are provided, coffee/tea not refilled.

Es ist das ehemalige Intercity Hotel.
Leider haben keine Reinvestitionen stattgefunden.
Keine Minibar mehr,gesamt gesehen sehr abgewohnt und zum Teil veraltet.
Kenne persönlich das Hotel schon sehr lange und gut.
Alle paar Jahre dort übernachtet.
Diesmal hatten wir leider Pech.
Es war ein seitliches Zimmer das sehr sehr laut war.
Ja .es ist am Hauptbahnhof und niemand kann erwarten das es dort leise sein wird:)
Jedoch wie beschrieben ist es wichtig welche Lage das Zimmer hat.
