Location
The staff should have been more friendly.
The staff promised to respond to send an email at 10.00PM but not
The W is an elegant 4 star hotel that welcomed my friends with incredible experience. The hotel is sleek, modern, and filled with helpful caring staff members that made sure we were well taken care of. I say this as a Marriott employee at different hotel and they really out did themselves!
This Outpost work setup is a game changer. I’m always hesitant to working from a hotel because I don’t want to slog all the equipment I need to be effective. But this solves every issue. I’ve raved about it to every coworker I talked to today… excellent service that I highly recommend!
The staff at the W Seattle were probably the best part of the stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant.
The hotel itself feels like it’s living off a version of itself from years ago. I can see how the design probably felt modern and fun when it first opened, but a lot of it comes across as dated now rather than stylish.
We had the Chase daily breakfast credit, so we used it each morning. The food was fine, nothing wrong with it, but also nothing I would pay for separately. If the credit hadn’t been included, I would have gone somewhere else for breakfast.
The location was also a downside. The hotel sits on a seriously steep hill, which got old fast. Looking back, I probably should have booked the Marriott Waterfront instead. It looked nicer and seemed much closer to the tourist spots we spent most of our time visiting.
Really enjoyed my stay. The front desk team is super welcoming and helpful as it was my first time in Seattle. They cater to business travelers with clean spacious rooms, early breakfast, and other amenities. Highly recommend!
Very clean and good location.
Over priced food and drinks, and confusing driving experience.
Excellent hotel in downtown Seattle. Excellent room. Friendly and courteous staff. Easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Located in a quiet and safe area.
It was a reasonable stay with very friendly staff, however it was not as high end as I was expecting. The rooms were basic, with no included slippers or bathrobes, and it was somewhat difficult to get breakfast in the morning. No restaurant dining, it was all either buffet or ordering at a counter - with long wait times every morning we were there (Fri-Sun). I probably would try another hotel again before staying at the W in Seattle.
The W used to feel luxurious before, now my stay felt like a cheap motel room - no robe, no slippers, no makeup mirror, no bottled water in the gym, vinyl wallpaper, old outdated tubs, no soundproofing. My room had the most terrible view - of the garage - and backed up to the elevator shaft. The grinding was so frustrating that neither my sound machine nor ear plugs were effective. When I called the front desk I was told that all the rooms surround the elevator and there’s nothing that can be done. After a fitful night of terrible sleep I saw that in fact half the rooms faced the other side and did not back up to the elevator. When I inquired at the front desk around 7:30am in the morning, the woman said they had plenty of open rooms and it shouldn’t be a problem but she wasn’t going to move me. In the evening after I returned to find my room never serviced by housekeeping, I had to persuade the new front desk person to move me. I was told that only one room was available - a double. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Also - no self parking and a $90 valet is egregious
Hotel bem localizado. Principais atrações próximas. Equipe simpática e atenciosa.
