An interesting, average hotel experience with above average ammenities.
Pros:

We scored a great deal with Booking and were able to take advantage of the advanced accommodations! We were impressed especially by the shower/bath, which was a stark difference from most crammed Japan hotel showers. Everything seemed new and modern. Awesome restaurants nearby with a very local feel.

Cons:

I think if we had paid full price, I would have some complaints. While the entry is immaculate, the upkeep fails immediately at the door to the elevator. Carpets are stained throughout and there is constantly housekeeping carts left unattended. The room had luxurious amenities (especially for japan) but had some critical issues. Whoever decided to install finicky automatic sinks has never tried to brush their teeth in one. Between the two queen beds, there was only one nightstand, and it would be great to have one on each side of each bed. Already the furniture was showing some serious wear and staining. We are a couple young bucks with good legs but it is quite a trek to the train stations, and a cab is the best way to and from with luggage. Overall, it feels luxurious but not well planned out and understaffed to be truly upper scale.

Pros:

All average for the price. Good space.

No noise insulation from rooms above. Constant noise until gone midnight every evening with no staff to report to.

Lo bueno y lo malo.
Pros:

La ducha y la potencia del agua es genial.
Además te daban toallas y tambien cosas gratis como té, y sobres de café, sirve muchísimo.
Es espectacular que cuente con microondas y con pava electrica. Muy bien.

Cons:

No me gustó que uno de los chicos de la recepción es un maleducado y maltratador. ( un chico hindú )
Y la limpieza general deja bastante que desear.

Good enough for a short stay / layover
Pros:

Executive room was a good size, and it was convenient to have the washing machine, kitchenette, and appliances in the room. Air con worked well and was clean (filter and interior). Nice to have the streaming services readily available on the TV.

p.s. We stayed here for one night as a last minute alternative when our AirBnB turned out to be a disaster.

Cons:

The sofa could have been cleaned better, as it was covered in old stains from spilled liquids.

Good, but not great
Pros:

It was good value you for money, the location was ok. Fairly close to a train station and situated halfway between central Kyoto and Fushimi Inara (20-30min walk to each) The bathroom was excellent, didn't expect a spa bath in the room.

Cons:

Room was set up for 5, yet we booked for 6. Advised reception, they dropped off an extra futon but forgot the linen. Once we got the linen we were still missing a towel. When we made up the beds, we realised the quilt didn't have a cover. Mistakes happen and staff were friendly enough, just annoying having to continually go back. The room was traditional Japanese but was not very comfortable with the dining table on the floor and the futons used by the kids for sleeping on. The size of the room was good but would loved to have had a couch in there. Location was in a residential area so not many dining or convenience store options around.

Great stay
Pros:

It was a very spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms with all the basics. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The spa bath was a bonus

Cons:

The only thing we didn't like was that the soap bottle in the bathroom was filled with water only. There was no soap, actually. Apart from that everything was great.
