Location is good but they Single room policy not clear at time of booking

Location is good and staff if very cooperative

Cons:

I booked the room for 2 person but when i reached to the hotel counter they tell me I have selected single room we cannot stay in one room. they charged by extra amount for one bed and this I experience first time on booking.com

Wonderful!
Pros:

Conveniently located on a quiet street just a short walk to where the beautiful river and restaurants were located. Had air-conditioning and good private bathroom with good water pressure for a shower.

Highly recommend this centrally located hotel.
Pros:

Centrally located. Wonderful staff who were helpful even before we got there by giving us information we requested. They prepared a box lunch for us when we informed them that we'd be leaving early for a morning hike. Breakfast was great, even hot foods like bacon and scrambled eggs. Breakfast staff was so attentive that one even gave my daughter ice in a napkin when she noticed my daughter's swollen arm from a bug bite. They even had an ice machine, which I never expect in Europe. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked great during the heat wave. Highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The only thing that I can think of is that our door needed an extra push to lock with the key.

Pros:

The breakfast selection was more than ample, offering plenty of variety to start the day. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we truly had no complaints. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they even accommodated our early check‑in—something we didn’t expect since we had only asked to leave our bags while exploring Lucerne. The location is also convenient, just a 10–15 minute walk to Lucerne HB.

Worst bed we have ever experienced!
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and kind and tried to improve the sagging bed by adding folded bedding under the terrible mattress.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable and made my backache.
Mattress was very soft and sagging. My wife also could not sleep properly.
Worst bed we have ever experienced.and there was no possibility to change the mattress.
