מיטה מעט רכה לטעמי. חדר חשוך , אבל זאת בעיה ידועה בבית מלון. למרות שעשיתי צ'ק אין און לין, לקח מלא זמן במלון, בלילה זה מעט הציק.

Beautiful historic hotel near the train station.
Pros:

This is a beautiful historic hotel located on a quiet canal walking distance to the train station. The staff is very welcoming, the room was spacious and quiet and breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous spacious bathroom with a tub, a separate and great shower, and lovely products. This is a well cared for hotel. Beautiful!

Charming Boutique Hotel Let Down by Cleaning Issues

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Amsterdam on foot or by public transport. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay, which added a positive touch. It has a charming boutique feel that gives it character compared to larger chain hotels.

However, housekeeping was a noticeable issue. Cleaning seemed inconsistent, with coffee pods not being replaced and face towels removed but not replenished. The carpet didn’t feel or look very clean, and the timing of housekeeping was unusual, often happening late in the afternoon rather than earlier in the day.

While the location and staff are definite highlights, improvements in cleanliness and housekeeping consistency would make a big difference to the overall experience.

Un ottimo soggiorno nel cuore di Amsterdam
Pros:

Il Mai Hotel di Amsterdam si trova nel cuore della città, in particolare nella Chinatown, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria.

L'hotel è molto bello, con camere affacciate direttamente su uno dei canali di Amsterdam.
I letti sono comodissimi, la pulizia è impeccabile e la camera è insonorizzata.
Buona la colazione: offre sia cibo dolce che salato, oltre a piatti su ordinazione (waffle, omelette, ...).

La zona, malgrado la vicinanza al Wallen, risulta comunque molto tranquilla.

Cons:

Mi rendo conto che non è migliorabile, però non consiglio questo hotel a chi ha difficoltà a salire le scale. Malgrado esista l'ascensore. Infatti, l'hotel è diviso su due edifici collegati internamente da un corridoio, il problema è che la vostra camera si trova nell'altro edificio, dovreste prendere due ascensori diversi, che sono spesso occupati da altri clienti dell'hotel. Quindi consiglio di farsi le scale, di armarsi di tanta pazienza o di cercare un altro hotel se le scale fossero un problema.
