Pros:

This is a very clean and quiet motel. Within walking distance to some restaurants and we drove to the downtown core. Our room was very comfortable and all updated. Breakfast was simple, hot and a good variety.

Cons:

Très mal insonorisé chambre avec porte communicante nos voisins riaient et parlaient tellement fort j’avais l’impression d’être avec eux dans la fête après 11 hrs la réception les appel pour qu’ils arrêtent de faire du bruit mais continue en riant de plus fort j’ai donc du demander par moi même à être changer de chambre il m’ont alors offert une chambre près de l’accueil que nous puissions dormir

We enjoyed our stay & the visit to Port Elgin
Pros:

Great location lovely ppl. Clean rooms

Cons:

I have to say the breakfast was the same every day. Our toilet started running they couldn’t fix. Did offer another room but only one night left. The pool could use some TLC looking old. Stayed there also 12 years ago, it’s looking its age.

Okay but room too hot.
Pros:

The breakfast we satisfying, with nice atmosphere
The lady who helped us fix the tv remote was very helpful

Cons:

The room was hot (cool weather outside).
The thermostat did not work - we could turn on the fan, but the digital readout was not there, and on the cool setting, we could not turn on the air conditioner to go cool down the room, so it was hard to sleep.
Also heated bathroom floor was hot when we arrived - after turning the temp. to off, the floor only cooked down a little by bedtime.

Broken umbrellas at picnic tables. Management knew because they told us they would have it fixed. Still wasn’t repaired
Pros:

Location was good. Beautiful town!

Cons:

Dirty bathroom with several issues which was corrected when we asked after we checked in. Had to ask to get room cleaned. Found out it’s not cleaned unless asked during my week stay. Breakfast was not at Wyndham standards. Yogurt put out when asked only. No gluten free bread items. No concern either for their GF guests. That’s when I asked for a yogurt. Never went a second time for breakfast. Very disappointing. :-(

Pros:

The location was good as well as the staff.

Cons:

Bathroom fan wasn’t working and even after complaining a few times was assured it will be fixed but no one came to fix it neither was provided with an alternate room. Breakfast was okay considering the price expected a few more options. TV cupboard seems was painted/polished recently but wasn’t properly dried as the paint was coming off every time upon touching.
