Staff made up excuses on the spot with no validation and manager is a disgrace, she clearly uses the property to solicit men. She charged me twice then said it was for smoking which no one had done
Location worked. Helpful at check in. Had minimal expectations for this property and it met them.
Between 10:30-11:00 pm , I had someone trying to get into my room saying someone was in his room. Front desk came up and tried to enter room with throw over latch prevented actual entry. She indicated she thought she had put me into a different room. She was exhausted and had been working multiple shifts. She apologized and gave a late check out.

Very unkept, weeds everywhere. Pool out of order, no breakfast, staff was beating on our door at 11 pm demanding we open the door.

The new staff seem to be doing their best to turn the place around. Our room looked clean, the ice machine worked, check-in and check-out was easy. A/C worked. Pillows were fine. I had fairly low expectations that were met. Bed was firm. Toilet worked, TV worked.
There's still a lot they have to fix, that was inaccurately reflected on Booking's website. No phone or alarm clock. Pool was out of order. No breakfast left when we left at 8am. And the no-smoking room smelled like it was previously smoking. None of it was a deal-breaker for us, but the site needs more transparency before check-in.
Great hotel for the price you pay. The only thing was missing is a soap bar, they do have shampoo and conditioner.
We booked 15 rooms for a school trip. The staff reached out ahead of our stay to make our check in very, very smooth. It wasn’t a fancy place, but it served its purpose. Everyone slept well and were safe.
It would have been nice to have a breakfast available, but that would have cost more.
Closeness to the zoo.
It was not clean and had a weird smell. The toilet wouldn't flush. We were on the 2cd floor and there was no screen on the window and it opened up wide which was a safety issue. The smoke alarm was hanging by the electrical wires and not secured to the wall. There was some kind of black mold looking stuff in the bathroom on the floor.

Don’t know about other rooms but ours was dirty! Bathroom was full of dead bugs! Went to front desk they did come and vacuum but missed the bugs behind the stool and by the door. I caught another staff member and he came in and cleaned With bleach.
