The gentle and soothing atmosphere

The property is in a stunning location and the decor is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
My only complaint is that we opted for a sea view room however our rooms were on the bottom floor and a large coach parked in front of our room all evening and from 7am in the morning.. so we never got our sea view!
Location really good for travelling around the highlands, comfortable bed
Only two rooms with a bath which we weren't informed of as you need to pre book one if required. No safe in room, also if you have a dog you need to be seated outside the restaurant which is not very relaxing area as staff are busy around you which isn't ideal
A nice room and view.
Two (false) fire alarms in the middle of the night (around 4am and then about an hour later) were poorly handled by reception the next morning. No apology - no attempt to empathise really at all.

Loved the style and ambiance of the hotel and the friendly staff gave a warm welcome. Loved the soft and comfortable beds and decor. Loved the food, probably the best meal Ive had in Scotland travelling through the highlands.
I think the service at breakfast was a slight let down as we were competing with a bus tour whom devoured most of the continental buffet and it was so slow to be replenished we didnt get much of a choice and some guests missed out entirely. The staff were slow to take breakfast orders as they were consumed with the tour guests. Also the dining room was in darkness when we arrived 5mins later than our reservation and we had to find a staff member to seat us. All in all although not an ideal start to the day, the food was fabulous again and we did enjoy our cooked breakfast.
Beautiful setting, very helpful staff, comfortable rooms, including bathroom with heated floor.
As much of Scotland in touristed areas, a wee bit pricey for a room without breakfast included, and the breakfast itself was overpriced, although pretty good (not a fantastic spread, but more than adequate).
The beds, the food, the staff, lovely quiet location. Beautiful rooms, and decor.

Last minute booking so discounted., Really nice hotel and location. Didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast due to our time constraints.
I can see why others complained about noise from other rooms , more down to the other guests than the hotel but soundproofing could be better . Restaurant seemed expensive but didn't use it.
Staff were very good and friendly
Our room needed a bit of refurb as there was a stain on the carpet otherwise it was fine.
L'hotel és realment bonic per fora i té una presentació molt atractiva. Tot i això, un cop a dins, es nota que les instal·lacions han quedat una mica antiquades i demanen una renovació. El punt més negatiu de la nostra estada va ser la falta de neteja profunda a l'habitació, on vam arribar a trobar fins a 9 aranyes. Crec que l'establiment té molt de potencial, però caldria revisar el manteniment de l'interior i el control de plagues per oferir una experiència més confortable.
