Shout out to Jessy and Lynette for all their suggestions, accommodating our requests and especially for their thoughtfulness. Thank you for the special touch (bottle of wine , chocolates and lovely greeting card). Truly made our silver wedding anniversary memorable 😊

Cons:

There was some ongoing construction during our stay - some sections were closed. Although this was not much of an issue for us as we were out most of the time anyway and there was not much noise.

Great location but hotel didn’t meet expectations for price.
Pros:

Location. Easy walk to town and close to public transport

Cons:

Ongoing renovations and associated noise and dust. Room booked and paid for 3 adults but only set up for 2 despite notifying reception.

Met expectations.
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Room was ok but the shower/bathroom door combination was awkward. However it met our needs.location was great. A/c was quiet and comfortable. Appreciated staff accommodating our request for a late checkout.

Cons:

Food service could have been better. It wasn’t bad, just pretty standard.

I like the room set up. Receptionist and dining staff are great.

Cons:

Housekeeping hours is inconsistent. One time we got back by 4pm and they have not clean the room. Cleaning is haphazard. Toilet were not scrubbed. Sometimes the floor was not mopped properly. I don't like that there's only one swinging door in the toilet and shower.

Lovely Surprise - not what we were expecting
Pros:

Having stayed in Holiday Inns in the past - our expectations were not too high but how wrong we were - from the welcome we received on arrival from Abi and Shay to our checkout by Thai - our three day stay was one of the most enjoying of our six week trip to Australia and New Zealand. The welcome bottle of wine and Chocolates and the complementary breakfast were a lovely surprise. The room was clean and warm had a nice view of the snow capped mountain in the distance. Despite the ongoing renovations the bar area was a great place to relax in the evening. But it was the staff the made our stay so enjoyable. Thanks to all.
