Darlene was awesome and very accommodating at the Tiki Bar!

We had a great time from beginning to end, we highly recommend going here, while there you need to visit Darlene at the tiki but, she's awesome, go visit the Loco Gecko for breakfast and let Sophia wait on you, you won't be disappointed

Went with my family for a long weekend in May. Been going here for over 25 years, since my son was 2. This trip included his son, who is also almost 2, to continue the family tradition. The 2 bedroom condos are amazing and a nice addition. Great location and amenities. We have always liked that there is a Loco Gecco at the hotel. Special shout out to Sophia S, who was our server the first day there and did an amazing job taking care of us. Unfortunately, we had a different server the second day we were there (5/16) and it was a complete disaster. Can honestly say I have never run into such an incompetent, lazy server and her manager. No common sense or awareness of how to treat people. Sophia tried to help where she could as it was clear to anyone around how disasterous our breakfast outing was becoming. And I wish I knew the name of the young man who brought our food out from the kitchen (morning of 5/16), as he was left to take care of us after our server and her manager basically ran away and spent more time talking to one another than doing their jobs (we weren't the only table having issues with them). It wasn't his job, but he cleaned up the table and gave us our food and Sophia S. helped us get things we were missing. They both deserve recognition for their service and going above and beyond. The server assigned to our table along with the manager should not be there as no customer would ever return after the experience we had. So thank you Sophia (and the young man) for making my family want to go back there again because we know you care and know how to treat your customers!

The phone doesn’t work in the room so we can’t call front desk. They don’t take your towels off the floor daily and replace with new ones. It’s hit or miss if they service your room. Weed smell on balcony. Don’t take the stairs as they are full of trash and smell like pee. Only 1 out of 2 elevators working in tower 1. Parking is super tight. Don’t bring a full-size truck. Good things is the room ac worked great. The pool is clean and the beds were comfortable. Will be trying another place next vacation.

The check-in experience was excellent. Although the resort was fully occupied, the receptionist honored our reservation and kindly upgraded us to a larger studio suite. She also provided complimentary food coupons, which was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Her customer service was outstanding and made us feel welcome.

The only area for improvement was the toiletries provided in the room. For a large studio suite at a resort, the quantity and selection of toiletries felt quite limited. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

The bed was not in good condition, the pictures on the app does not show what’s in the rooms. All the rooms are not in good conditioning when you look on your app it’s very appealing but when you get to the hotel is very disappointing.

We ate at the Loco Gecko several times during our stay at the Crown Reef. Sophia was an amazing server. Very friendly and helpful

The view of the beach

The location was perfect. Right on the beach a second away from the sand through multiple gates. So many areas to wash off sand before coming to one of like 9 pools? So many hot tubs. Never felt crowded, always had space for my family of 4 to swim and enjoy. The many hot tubs are a treat. So warm and relaxing. Many places to get food, snacks, coffee, treats. An arcade, a gym, laundry. The rooms are exactly what you see online. Our ocean view from the 14top floor was amazing. Washing up to drink coffee with that view was a blessing. The value for my family for a week was amazing, and so affordable. Staff was always so sweet and always a good morning and smile.

It was pretty good overall. I'm not the biggest fan of the smells. When I first got in my room I had to open the door to let it air out. Maybe a ear purifier in the rooms would make a difference.
