Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and good location in central Cheltenham
Shame restaurant was closed in the evening
Lovely, clean, classy
No air con
El personal es muy amable y el desayuno está muy bien
Tienen q ir pensando en poner aire acondicionado y nevera en las habitaciones
Very comfortable, nice staff good position, very clean, decent breakfast. Would recommend.
The basic continental breakfast was an acceptable standard.
Pricey for what felt like a dated standard of accommodation. Very disappointed to find no air conditioning with record June temperatures. The room was small, hot and stuffy. The one tiny portable fan provided was noisy, didn’t rotate and didn’t cool the room. Ground floor rooms so not safe to open the window at night. Very little sleep. The room also wasn’t properly stocked: with reception closed until 8am, had to get dressed early in the morning to go to find someone setting up for breakfast to get the missing toiletries: a frustrating start that more attention to detail and guest care would avoid. Would be very reluctant to stay again given other more modern and stylish hotels in Cheltenham that in my view offer higher standards of guest care for and better value.
It was a good stay although use the wifi with the word "fast" in it because the other one is bad and kept failing us. Once connected to the other wifi we were able to read emails - to marry up with friends in town - and clearly listen to Radio Caroline's broadcasts at the weekend from their Ross Revenge ship off the Essex coast on their internet signal! The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. We managed to get a car space for an extra £5 although they did not seem to have too many so best check in early!
Room 9 was very warm when we arrived mid afternoon on a hot day. Maybe the curtains could have been left drawn?
Its location
The fact that you had to pay for the parking, when there were plenty of spaces
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good.
Lovely hotel, the staff were great and the breakfast was nice
The room was on the top floor, so was very hot, they had given us a fan but needed to be much more powerful
The pillows need replacing as very lumpy
The coffee for breakfast wasn’t great
Room not cleaned one day
We had a lovely stay at the Clarence Court Hotel and were grateful that they could accommodate an extra night when another property on our 5-day Cotswold Way trek cancelled our reservation at the last minute. The owner was exceptionally gracious and accommodating! Great room & location. Highly recommend!
My room was very comfortable and the bed was like sleeping on air. Also, the breakfast in the morning was amazing!
Honestly, nothing. My stay at the Clarence Court Hotel exceeded all of my expectations.
