Favorite Hotel in Bangkok
Pros:

Kimpton Maa-Lai is my favorite hotel in Bangkok and the place I always look forward to returning to. The location near Lumphini Park is excellent, the breakfast is always very good, and the gym is my favorite hotel gym in Bangkok, with high-quality equipment.

I love that the hotel has great dining options on-site. Both Craft and Bar.Yard are so good that I always end up having dinner at the hotel multiple nights during my stays.

Most importantly, the staff throughout the hotel, restaurants, and gym are always friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Grape for her hospitality and warm service. Looking forward to my next stay.

Highest quality stay, literally everything was perfect.
Pros:

Just an amazing hotel. Pool is great, lobby is great, rooms excellent, wonderful gym, perfect location.
Clearly prefer it over the other 5* Hotels nearby which I visited all.

Warmest welcome to Thailand and pure luxury

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as the first part of our 2 week South East Asia honeymoon and it was the most perfect hotel! We have stayed at many Kimptons throughout the US and this by far is the best one we have ever stayed at. The staff (special thanks to Pimmie!), the lobby, the amenities, the breakfast (omg the breakfast, def do not skip the sticky mango rice or the french toast), and our room were beyond perfect. It all truly felt like luxury. If I had any disclaimers it is that this may not be in the most walkable part of the city - we didn't feel we could just walk out and go to a coffee shop, but also, to be fair, it was so hot we didn't do much walking in general. There was a bank and a little shopping center close by that gave us all we needed for the time. The pool was also absolutely gorgeous and we really enjoyed the social hour up there. Thanks to everyone at Kimpton Maa-lai who gave us the warmest welcome to Thailand!

Good energy and services
Pros:

I would like to leave a review of this gym as I am a frequent visitor. The staff are friendly and helpful. They do a great job, even after training clients for many consecutive hours, and still maintain positive energy towards guests.

I also love the atmosphere here. The greenery creates a good mood and brings positive energy to the space.

Room smell bad
Pros:

When we checked in, staff said we would wait another hour, and there would be a better room upgrade.
The result was that the upgraded room actually had a musty smell.
we only stayed for one day, and we had been waiting for an hour, I really feel a bit tired.
So finally there was no more request for a change of room.

Always the best
Pros:

I have been coming to Kimpton for a long time now and considering it like a second home. Best location in Bkk, immerse in green and just few steps from all is needed. Amazing clean comfortable rooms with the best possible service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. A perfect stay for Pride weekend
Pros:

Kimpton Maa-Lai is close to the Silom area, making it very convenient and safe for LGBTQ+ travelers. We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria before coming to Kimpton Maa-Lai, and honestly, we loved Kimpton even more than the Waldorf because of its youthful vibe and the many things to do here. You would love your stays here immediately after you enter the lobby.

The room was spacious and well equipped. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the room was cleaned regularly while we were out. It was also very well soundproofed, so we were barely disturbed by our neighbors or by traffic noise from outside.

I especially loved the swimming pool, which offers a beautiful view of the entire garden. The food here was also amazing.

The staff were extremely friendly. Special thanks to Grape, who helped us check in, book restaurants and rooftop bars, and introduced us to many activities within the hotel.
