Great service and rooms
Pros:

Staff is always very kind and the service is top notch. We love our room too - plenty of space and a clean layout with a tub by the window and separate shower. They also offer a daily happy hour by the pool, which is very decent for being complimentary. Second time staying here and enjoying it just as much as the first.

This was my first time visiting Bangkok, and I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. From check-in to check-out, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially the doormen, the front desk team, and the staff at the gym, shower room, and beverage bar on the 3rd floor. They all made me feel comfortable throughout my stay.

A special thank you to Pimmie for making my check-in such a great start to the trip, and to Eric, the Korean Service Excellence Supervisor. Eric always took the time to chat with us, recommended amazing local restaurants, and shared helpful travel tips that made our Bangkok experience even more enjoyable.

I came here expecting a great hotel, but what really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. It truly made a difference. The next time I visit Bangkok, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel and hope many others get to create wonderful memories here as well.

The hotel is incredible -- large, spacious, very modern rooms, impeccable service, particularly from staff members Tina, Grape and front desk manager Gham! Super helpful, no question too much, no issue too small to take care of. Wonderful stay, would recommend highly!!! Best hotel and service experience thus far in Bangkok -- where many hotels are superb, but this one certainly stands out!!

Amazing Hotel! Great amenities & staff
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and service is great. We loved the breakfast buffet. Rooms are super large and so comfortable. Staff makes the experience so great. The gym is great and also 24 hour. We had an amazing workout class with Nutt for Thai boxing. I was a beginner and he made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Best hotel I’ve stayed at!
Pros:

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are huge and spacious for our family of 4. The amenities and service are fantastic. This is definitely the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. We also took a complimentary Thai boxing class with Nuitt and had a wonderful experience. He was a great teacher and made the class so fun and enjoyable! Would highly recommend his class and this hotel to everyone!

Excellent service
Pros:

We stayed at the Kimpton Maa-lai for four nights and had a great time. The service is incredible - there were some issues with our room being ready so they arranged another room for us to shower and refresh which was appreciated.

The hotel is relatively central to Siam and all the malls.

The breakfast buffet is also fantastic, there is so much choice and the quality is excellent. The Italian restaurant, Ms Jigger, was also fantastic and some of the best food we had during our trip.

Fantastic city hotel
Pros:

We stayed at the Kimpton Maa-Lai for four nights, and we were extremely happy that we did!

The hotel itself was very modern and nice, as evident by the lobby. We were checked in very quickly by the kind staff and, as we booked through AMEX, we were very lucky and delighted to hear that we were upgraded to a different room.

This room, which we think was the "Maa-Lai Suite Green Lung View", was the best "city" hotel room we have ever stayed in. It was a very large room, modern, clean, and well-appointed with a selection of interesting books to read. The bed was very big and comfortable, as were the pillows. Both the shower and bath were large, with the shower in particularly having very strong pressure. The bathroom itself came with a lot of amenities, including a Dyson hairdryer. The TV had a good selection of channels but, as we were exploring all day, we didn't use it.

As we booked through Amex, we also had a lovely welcome gift of chocolates which our toddler loved. The hotel also gave little treats inspired by Thailand as part of the turn down service, which was a nice touch.

Moving away from the room, the hotel was in a quiet location, which was ideal for us. We did walk to a local BTS (Ratchadamri), but we wouldn't recommend this in the hot and humid environment, especially with a toddler! We used taxis to get around, which were very cheap and convenient (Bolt being cheaper than Grab).

The breakfast buffet was large and varied, though most of the options remained the same throughout our stay. It was of good quality and certainly set us up for the day itself. There was also a nice restaurant (Royal Osha) that was nearby, but we mainly ate near the sights we visited. We also visited the Bar.Yard on the 40th floor, which had lovely nighttime views of Bangkok along with good cocktails!

Lastly, we wish to highlight the staff at the hotel. They were kind and helpful, always looking to see if we were ok, and playing with our toddler when they saw her. In particular, we wish to say how kind Tina was. She was great during check-in, making our toddler feel so welcomed, but she was also amazing afterwards. She arranged for a kids tent to be set up in our room, along with a little table and chairs with colouring pencils, an activity book, and a bag, in our room for our toddler. This was incredibly kind, and our daughter really loved playing with the tent and the activities.

In short, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Bangkok, particularly those who are looking for a quiet neighbourhood and are happy to rely on taxis!

Consistently exceptional - highly recommended
Pros:

We have stayed here several times, and it is always an excellent experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hospitality and service were outstanding, and the food is delicious. Highly recommended!
