Lovely little inn, but overpriced
Pros:

The property is really well located with great access to the town and shops. The entire space is beautifully decorated throughout. Breakfast was great - lovely fresh sourdough, Greek yoghurt, eggs, granola and pastries. Whilst initially we were allocated a ground floor room looking directly onto the car park, I was grateful to the staff member who moved us up to a 1st floor room on request. The extra touches of cookies, chocolate and water in the room were lovely and the Diptique toiletries were a nice touch.

Cons:

Unfortunately I felt the property was overall very overpriced. It is after all an inn on a busy road with all rooms facing out onto a car park…for almost £400 a night. There is a nice terrace for breakfast, but again looks to a car park. The windows are single glazed so there is a lot of street traffic, even on the upper floor. In the morning as well about 9:30am we had maintenance painting right outside our room window. It would be better to wait for people to check out before beginning maintenance overlooking the rooms, as they don’t have much privacy. The person at the desk when we checked out was not the most friendly when compared with many other places we have stayed.

המלון בנוי כמו מוטל ככה שכל החדרים עם חלון לחניה, משמע שאי אפשר לפתוח את החלון כי יש רעש, עוברים אנשים מול החלון וגם אין פרטיות
מתוך חמישה ימים, ארבעה ימים היינו בלי מפתח לחדר בשל תקלה ככה שכל פעם שרצינו לחזור לחדר היינו צריכים לבקש מהקבלה. הצוות לא היה אדיב ונחמד לגבי זה והרגשנו כאילו אשמתנו שיש תקלה.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed what the hotel had to offer.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great location, comfortable room, delicious morning breakfast, free parking on site, freshly baked cookies every day, luxurious toiletries

Cons:

Older building so was able to hear my upstairs neighbor take every squeaky step. barn style bathroom door made privacy difficult

החדריח קטנים והחלונות פונים לשאר החדרים כך שאי אפשר להיות עם וילון פתוח רוב הזמן

Pros:

The location is perfect, you are at the top of downtown. The decor is fabulous, with so many special touches… like staying in a rich friend’s guest cottage rather than a hotel! The breakfast (and the room it is served in) was amazing, the entire staff friendly, fresh cookies delivered to your room every afternoon, bicycles at the ready (but use them at your peril… this is a hilly town!). It is a bit of a splurge, but so worth it!

Smart motel in good location
Pros:

Smart motel in handy location on Ocean Avenue. Very good attention to detail. Decent breakfast, free bike hire. Staff fixed a problem with USB charging points promptly.

Cons:

It’s still a motel after all but charges like a five star hotel. Parking is limited, breakfast area can get crowded, tips expected with everything. Rooms are small with no closet space.
