Great location but terrible communication.
Pros:

The location is great. It's a short walk to the beach and we had perfect weather.

Cons:

Unfortunately we had to leave a day early because of a medical emergency with my mother in law. I was hoping for a credit to be used at a later date and was told a manager would call me. I've never heard from anyone and I've left messages for someone to contact me and no one has.

If you aren’t using their most expensive rooms, save your money and go elsewhere

Natural setting close to the ocean

Cons:

Conditions have . Shabby, not well maintained, very old fixtures, dead light bulbs in bedside lamps. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Toilet didn’t flush. Walls had holes and skids. Not ‘rustic’ — shabby.

Be Careful!
Cons:

This was by far the worst hotel on our trip to the U.S. in terms of service. We were offered a room with beds of different widths and different mattresses. After we complained, we were given an acceptable room, but it overlooked the backyard and the utility rooms. The toilet flush broke at night. The hotel completely ignored my comment about it. The beach was littered with green algae and swarms of sand fleas. The place is actually worth a visit, as is the hotel complex. However, the property is in need of renovation, and the staff should conduct themselves.

Beautiful location with a rustic feel.
Pros:

Location, campus, the look and feel of the buildings, the walking paths, the fire pits

Cons:

Bathroom really could use an upgrade. Towels were clean but not soft. The tub fixture / plug was pulled out when we arrived. No hair dryer. No coffee maker. Soap was out in the shower.

Aussergewöhnliches Ambiente

Tolle Lage, direkt am Meer!
Cooles Flair; wie in einem Feriencamp in den 60ern, ... wie bei Dirty Dancing😉
Frühstück: kleine Auswahl, aber gut!
Ausreichend Parkplätze
Sehr viel Natur (Wald); sogar ein Reh stand vor unserem Haus😉

Cons:

Alles ist zwar recht sauber, aber doch leider seeehr veraltet u. renovierungsbedürftig;
zu wenig Steckdosen, kein Kühlschrank, keine Klimaanlage (zum Glück war die Nacht schon kühl). Für eine Nacht u. auch wegen dem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war es jedoch wirklich ok👍
