I'm a rewards member & want to always use La Quinta while in Cocoa Beach...however...
Pros:

The breakfast was Great! The room was very clean! However, staff are the glue & face to a comfortable stay.

Cons:

The check-in front desk staff member did not smile, did not respond with a greeting when I said "Hello," and did not make any eye contact. This came across as unprofessional and fell short of even basic customer courtesy. As an RN, I understand firsthand how important it is to extend positive, consistent behavior to every customer. Front desk staff would benefit from customer service training.

It’s a fine hotel. They did nothing wrong. We just could not enjoy the property.
Pros:

The breakfast was good. The room seemed clean enough. Location was fine. No big complaints on the property other than the balconies. The pool was great.

Cons:

You cannot enjoy the balconies. The air conditioning units vent to the balconies making them practically unusable. You have hot air pouring out of the unit and with the noise you can’t even hear the ocean. Relaxing on the balcony and hearing the ocean was the thing we were looking forward to the most. We ended up leaving early.

Loved it!
Pros:

Super close to the beach! And it’s somewhere clean to sleep & recharge. Staff was helpful, breakfast & coffee was also good. $10 a day to park but that tracks with coastal hotels in fl. I would 100% stay again.

Overall, great place to stay and would stay again.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The location was excellent and the views were amazing from the balcony. Close to the pier, shopping, and great access to the beach. In all, great location. We would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

You had to go to the laundry room on the bottom floor for Ice. The air conditioner was very noisy, but kept the room fairly cool. The bar wasn't open enough. The door to the balcony slammed, while the main door you had to pull shut.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to pier and ample amount of free parking.

Cons:

Looks run down, pool area was not equipped with enough towels/chairs for the occupancy. When we requested clean pool towels, we were told they didn’t have any. Did not go to extra effort to accommodate
