Good location, but get the right room

Cons:

I was disappointed they didn't give me a room with an ocean view. They told us the room was not cleaned. The next day, we asked, and the staff said it would cost an extra $100 a night.

Santa Monica Pier in ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Bayside Hotel würde ich eher als Motel einstufen.

A very enjoyable stay.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was very good. A 3 minute walk to the beach and 10-15 minutes to the pier. Plenty of restaurants also within easy walking distance. The room was a good size and the beds were comfy.

Location was excellent

Cons:

Check in took way to long. I payed for the reservation before I arrived. When I was checking in I was asked for a deposit which should have been included during the booking. Unexpected fees ruin people's vacations.
