Please note the bar and restaurant on the ground floor will be closed until for refurbishment until 31 August 2019.

The hotel, room by room is also going through a refurbishment program from July 2019 until September 2019. During this time the hotel will be still open as the contractors will be working on one room at a time.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Clean, spacious family hotel
Pros:

Very clean and spacious, lovely bathroom with a Wetherspoons nearby for food. I was travelling by bicycle and the hotel staff were very helpful with secure storage. The hotel is conveniently close to the Trans Pennine Cycle Trail. I would stay there again. Highly recommended.

Propere, ruime kamers.
Onverwachte meevaller na het contact met de barmaid.
Gemakkelijk dat wij onze fiets op de kamer mochten zetten.
Centrale ligging, nabij de Trans Pennines Trail.

Cons:

De groezelige bar onder de kamer.
De mensen die er rond hingen zagen er marginaal uit. Sorry.
Het drukke verkeer.

We kunnen dit hotel niet beoordelen. Er was geen contact te krijgen met de eigenaren die niet in Engeland wonen. Het voelde niet goed, we hebben een ander hotel geboekt.

Basic but clean
Pros:

The maid was very friendly and obliging the bed was comfortable

Cons:

The fact that the shower was over the bath but no slip mat or floor towel provided.
The maid did go out and buy a slip mat for the bath on request
28.5 degrees in bedroom even with fan going accept weather was exceptional for England

Awful, awful, awful.
Pros:

This place was a lodging house and I got the impression it was a residence for people homeless people.
It was clearly advertised at £39-50 per room and we had paid £75 ! Absolutely no facilities except for tea and coffee in the room.
NEVER AGAIN!

Cons:

Run down place . Overall appearance very shabby but bedroom clean.
This should never be advertised as a hotel as it clearly is a residential lodging place.
