Please note that there is a charge of GBP 15 per night for pts. They are allowed in the bar and on the terrace but not in the restaurant while meals are being served.

Due to the current situation, the property is unable to offer breakfast and the pool is currently closed.

Bar meals are offered from Thursdays to Saturdays inclusive. Full English Breakfasts offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Continental breakfast from Monday to Fridays inclusive pre-booked when you checked in.

Pros:

breakfast was nice

Cons:

could not get a mini refrigerator , other rooms had them. Shower drain was clogged and could not run the shower at full rate or it would overflow onto the floor, Hotel mgmt knew it was clogged but could not /would not fix it.
Got fines for parking, even thou I was fully paid up. Now the rental car company wants their fees , I cant seem to get it all to stop even though I sent proof I was paid up.

Cons:

Shower was difficult to get to correct temperature. It was either too hot or too cold.

A perfectly clean and comfortable stay with polite staff and convenient parking.
Pros:

The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff was always very polite and made sure we felt welcome. It was also highly convenient to have parking available right around the back of the building.

A great family night's stay
Pros:

The room was really large and comfortable and the location was perfect. They really made a fuss of my son for his 11th birthday with a wonderful gift for him waiting in the room - thank you so much!

Pros:

Was extremely hot in the room.
It was during the heat wave, so to be expected but unfortunately I was in the to for and it was unbearable. Then got moved down a floor which was an improvement but still very difficult to sleep.
Needed a decent fan or air con.

Lovely hotel in central location.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast
We ate our evening meal at the hotel too and really enjoyed the food.
Good size room and pleasant decor
Nice ambiance in the hotel

Cons:

The water from the cold water tap in the bathroom was very warm. Given the hot weather, some bottled water would have been appreciated.
Some noise carried into the room from the outside seating area but that is due to the layout of the hotel and can’t be changed. It was quiet at night which was the main thing.

had a wonderful stay at the Crown & Cushion Hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel has a lovely historic atmosphere, and its location is perfect for exploring the local area. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
