Cons:

Wir sind am Abend angereist, das Hotel war aufgrund eines Systemfehlers überbucht und wir konnten nicht einchecken, obgleich wir unseren Aufenthalt Monate im Voraus bezahlt haben. Der Rezeptionist organisierte zwar ein Alternativhotel, allerdings handelte es sich um das Intercity Hotel, das wir uns alleine niemals ausgesucht hätten und als Downgrade empfanden. Nach einer einstündigen Wartezeit haben wie fußläufig das andere Hotel aufgesucht und mussten dort das neue Zimmer selbst bezahlen. Der Aufenthalt hat uns gar nicht gefallen, das Hotel entsprach nicht dem Niveau, das wir ursprünglich gebucht haben. Mit dem Umgang, der uns entgegengebracht wurde, als wir eine Rückerstattung erbaten, sind wir ebenfalls unzufrieden geblieben. Die Mehrkosten (zumal eine kurzfristige Buchung) des Alternativhotels sind uns zwar zugesichert worden, in der Gutschrift fand ich allerdings nur die geringere Summe für das gebuchte und ungenutzt gebliebene Zimmer des Holiday Inn wieder. Erst nach aufmerksamer Prüfung und Aufforderung durch mich, konnte die Gutschrift korrigiert werden. Mit der Häufung an Fehlern und dem Service sind wir sehr unzufrieden geblieben. Neben einer Rückerstattung hätten wir wenigstens eine kleine Wiedergutmachung erwartet. Ein sehr frustraner Aufenthalt.

Pros:

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating.

Our room was great, with comfy beds and overall as advertised.

We noticed on one day that there had been no cleaning. Yet on the positive side, when we called reception, they immediately sent someone to pick up the trash and bring us new towels.

Cons:

There was a heat wave at the time - clearly not the hotels fault. Air conditioning worked fine.

However, the Hotel didn't provide the regular food service during the stay, and on the weekend even the hotel bar was closed. Only the breakfast was service was open. Breakfast was solid, a bit too pricy for what it was though.

On one day, the room wasn't cleaned. But see positive note above.

Ruhiges Hotel an zentraler Lage
Pros:

Wir waren eine ganze Woche dort. Kingsize-Bett war sehr bequem. Zimmer war sehr ruhig, trotz unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof. Grosse Fensterfront. Frühstücksraum war sehr gross, vielseitig und ansprechend. Dove-Pflegeprodukte waren gut. Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Frühstück war ok - nichts besonderes. Wir hatten ein Premium-Zimmer (30 m2) gebucht, das uns nicht besonders gross schien - das Bad war relativ gross. Das Zimmer war ganz anders und enger als es auf den Fotos schien. TV war relativ klein und unpassende platziert (seitwärts zum Bett, Sitzplatz war hinter dem Bett - weit weg vom TV). Leider war die Verdunkelung im Raum nicht ausreichend. Wasser gibts nur am Anreisetag. Bad war ok, aber Wasser lief unter Duschwand hindurch. Keine Regendusche - Brause könnte mehr Druck haben. Keine Parkplätze - man muss in der Umgebung suchen. Das Parkhaus gleich nebenan ist viel zu teuer. Vor dem Haus hat es Kurzparkplätze - hat man uns gesagt. Trotzdem wurde dort über Nacht geparkt.
