Room, location, service.
I requested and paid for an early check in, as I flew into Miami on a red eye. Suffice to say, I had to wait ages for a room.
Close enough to the beach and they even take you there on a small taxi every 20 minutes. Very well located for the price
No breakfast options for a budget, NO FREE WATER IN THE ROOM, I mean, not even a single 600ml bottle. They offer 24/7 free water at the lobby but it is orange/pinaple/lemon infused, and you have to use the plastic glasses they have there.
Most of the staff was kind and helpful, but some of them have to work on their customer service skills
This is my second time staying here at The Kimpton Palomar at South Beach. I was greeted and checked in by Jose!
Nice pool and room
The parking was not included. Left my phone charger in the room and they said I didn’t leave it. I called several times and it was difficult to get through.
Nice staff (reception, restaurant, valet, pool barman, driver, everyone was great!), both room and common areas were clean and cozy.
A bit over priced considering it is not close to landmarks nor the beach, the room was overlooking a construction site and you could hear drilling as early as 7 am, balconies are so close (and windows apparently poor) that we had bad smell coming in the room from neighbours smoking outside. Also expect zero flexibility for late check-out, we asked for an extra hour and a half and they would have charged us 150 $.
Went for an iced coffee and stayed for tue good company. Karina took care of us and was a very pleasant talk with her. Would definitely come back
Perfect Miami Beach Stay at Palomar
Location is unbeatable. You’re steps from Ocean Drive and the beach, but the hotel itself is calm and quiet.
Rooms were comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. Great beds and AC that actually works.
The pool area is divine. Loved spending afternoons there, super clean and great vibe.
A huge shoutout to Jose. His attention to detail and kindness really elevated the whole stay.
Would absolutely come back.

I loved that the hotel provides chairs and towels at the beach. It made everything super convenient and you don’t have to pack or carry anything.
I also used the hotel bikes a ton during my stay. Perfect for exploring the area.
Jose was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.
Really great experience overall.
Free Beach Cart is a Game Changer
The free beach cart service is excellent and made getting to the beach so easy. It’s a huge perk that sets this hotel apart.
The rest of the stay was great too, but that service really stood out.
