Great location, friendly and lovely calm vibe despite being in the city. The coffee Machine and the water
Absolutely nothing
Great location close to Darling Harbour and city centre as well as several transport options including trains, metro, tram and bus. Extremely friendly staff, esp at reception and the restaurant and bar. Beds super comfy, room was quiet and dark at night. Nice to have free water bottles in room that could refill with machine in hall.
It was all very good. One minor thing - the gym was a bit hot and I couldn’t seem to find a temperature control. Everything else was great.
Everything
Great location, close to everything we wanted to do, breakfast was good.
It does state the pool is heated, this in fact wasn’t the case lol but not a big deal as we are in winter, Room service was way over priced for what we received and some of the food was uneatable definitely wouldn’t recommend it or order again, there’s so many options around you so we will explore that more next time.
Muy buena ubicacion dentro de Darling Harbour.
Nada en particular.
Service
We were given an accessibility room that I didn’t ask for and when the show was on water went all over the floor. If I had, had a disability that would have been dangerous.
Long hanging space was an issue
Staff were great. Room was great but had a bad view of a brick wall when I paid to have a room with a view. When I requested a room with a view, I was told that side of the building was under construction. Shouldn't I get the rate discounted then? Heated pool was cold, but a great view of the sunset.
The view from my room and the non heated pool.
Great rooms, excellent pool, nice dining.
The room layout is very practical and spacious, the toiletries smell beautiful, the bed was super comfy. Really loved the sleepy tea and message attached. We had buffet breakfast and all of us really liked it. The location is perfect, right in the middle if darling harbour or centre of town are your destinations. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Sydney. Bonus it has cafe downstairs, and water refilling stations on every floor.
Couldn’t find any faults.
Easy location
Pool said it was heated and it wasnt.
Room was lovely and spacious, great bathroom
Breakfast wasn’t buffet style we weee expecting so just a little difficult to navigate with a fussy toddler
The room had a large area with brown stain on the carpet, looked like someone threw up or spilled something brown with grainy residue. They did change rooms for us, but unfortunately, the shower in the new room had 10 tiny fruit flies flying around, and the edge of the shower flowers were moldy and black.
It was a very conveniently located business Hotel with good restaurants and facilities around the locality. I will be keen to return sometime soon.
The Good:
-fantastic location, just two blocks walk to Town Hall station and light rail, and easily walkable to Darling Harbour, Chinatown and a little further for The Rocks
-comfortable beds though of our group of 4 there were mixed opinions on the pillows
-the blackout curtains were incredibly effective
-lovely rooms, clean and modern bathrooms and decent amenities
-shower temperature super hot (obviously controllable) and pressure (particularly from handheld shower hose moreso than overhead) was fabulous
-breakfast, though expensive (aren’t hotels always), was enjoyable every day. There was a good à la carte menu with ordering of 1 meal per person, and then unlimited access to the small continental bar and barista coffee
The areas that weren’t as great:
-staying on floor 2, there was a lot of noise from the street - not so much pedestrians (apart from the Saturday night) but cars, sirens and the construction jackhammers next door were very audible in the room, and maybe problematic for sound-sensitive people
-the first morning housekeeping came at a standard time; the remaining days they weren’t attending til 4-4.30pm and on one of those days apologised saying they’d been busy with departures. It is not the staffs fault, this is clearly a cost-saving measure by the business to not roster enough personnel. There should be no reason for rooms to be serviced that late in the day, when regardless of travelling for work or leisure that would be around when people are needing their rooms for rest or getting ready for their evening
-the server at breakfast knocked a hash brown off my husbands plate to the floor; absolutely no problem except it was never replaced
Locations was great great service no issues with that
It was different from the photos I did like that
Great location - less than a 10 min walk to public transit, lots going on nearby, perfect for tourists or those travelling for work
Rooms didnt get much natural light
