Cons:

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay. We had an issue with the room key and had to wait about an hour in the lobby in the evening for assistance. The problem could not be fixed due to an issue with the door system, which meant we were unable to leave the room until check-out the next day, as the door could not be locked. Considering the high price of the stay and the inconvenience caused, we were disappointed that we received neither an apology nor any form of compensation.

Terrible. Left a day early.
Cons:

No luxury. Bugs. No private patio or outdoor space as website implied. Dated. No room service. Had bare essentials. Would not return or recommend

Pros:

I don’t understand how this hotel can justify charging almost $700 per night for a room like this. The room felt very old, cheap, and had a strange musky odor as soon as we walked in. The hotel photos are misleading—the actual rooms are much more worn than the pictures online. The bathroom was by far the worst part. It was extremely outdated and not nice, with chipping and peeling walls, and the shower had visible mold.

I would never stay here again and regret booking this hotel for my family, even for just one night. At this price, I expected a much nicer room and experience but this fell far short of that.

Cute rooms, friendly staff, awesome location
Pros:

superb location, very clean and spacious rooms, hard to beat for value in Carmel and the breakfast was a lovely surprise addition to the stay.

Cons:

Nothing! it was a great break in a great town

Pros:

Exceptionally cute and beautiful place to stay! Friendly staff and very comfortable. Outdoor fireplace was great! High class Continental Breakfast..very delicious

Cons:

No A/C so we opened the windows. One window was stuck and didn't open. Fortunately there was a fan in the closet

Horrible old POS
Pros:

Horrible hotel for the money. Zero sound proof so you hear everything. For almost $500 a night imagine being woken up at 6am and hear 2 hours of what sounds like thunder and bears fighting on top of you from upstairs just pacing around. Terrible experience for the money and would not recommend this old and outdated location. Front desk staff also did absolutely nothing when mentioned
